The staff was friendly and the property was a self contained resort.
It was clean and the room was bright, comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Better in the living area than the bedroom but we were comfortable. The breakfast is bountiful. There are many nice spaces on the property to relax with many pools and a beach like area where along the inlet where the water is clear and warm.
The location is beautiful and convenient if you want to be close to Paceville. We thought that area was too young and hectic for us.

Location, food, beds and staff were amazing. The rooms and the hotel is little outdated but didn't affect our stay.
Found a bunch of hair on the floor in the room which wasn't very pleasant. Was missing bathrobes and a towel in the room.
When we used the room service to order some water, we never got it so asked reception the next day.

The hotel was a beautiful, classic older hotel. The front dest and other hotel attendants were very nice and helpful. The pool area was awesome with plenty of loungers even during peak season. The breakfast was plentiful.
The immediate surrounds had a lot of construction going on, so walking to the beach and the shopping area at St. Julian's wasn't attractive. We booked a sea view room, but the room they gave us could barely be called a sea view room. If you went on the balcony and stood at the very edge, you could see a little of the sea. That was very disappointing. We noticed that there were many rooms that did have good, clear sea views. Make sure you get one of those if you pay for the sea view. The rooms could use some updating. It would be nice if some lamps or fixtures were USB ready. Most outlets were behind furniture and hard to access.

Great staff. Room lovely. Breakfast great. There was an abundance of restaurants to choose from with the huge complex. We also found the lounge bar/diner very handy if we did not want to leave the hotel.
There was no mini bar or refrigeration in the room. Some of the hotel looking a bit tired. I did not realise the distance involved in Malta, so was quite surprised how far away from eg Valletta we were. Public transport is available of course, but it took an hour to get to Valletta. I would suggest a car to get around. However a small shopping centre within walking distance.

No water in the room ever courtesy " 5star hotel but no water serve" thats not good " cant wait till that hard rock resort opens ?maybe they will serve water or courtesy water " im sure they do ???

The view and the facilities where nice
The basin had some problem. Although the tap water was not nice to drink according to the staff there were not enough complementary water in the room.

Location was great. Our room looked out over the med and was spacious.
The air conditioning never worked right the entire week we were there. We kept calling about it to no avail. They finally brought us a fan to be able to sleep more comfortably. Would not stay here in the summer.

The staff was very nice & quick to help. That’s really about it.
Old, needs updating, didn’t like location. If we had known there was so much construction we would have picked another place. Air conditioning did not work. Only one restaurant that always tried to push the buffet.
