Good located, with excellent staff hotel. Well communicated with Valetta and other regions. Lots places to spend evening with different varioeties of food.
The hotel was noisy. You have to be aware that the people living next door may not respect the silence at night, and then you will hear everything.

We were scared about bed bugs, so we asked them to give us a clean room. The room we got didn’t have a good view, but at least there were no bed bugs.
They also didn’t have a secure luggage storage room. At one point, they even asked my friend why she needed water for her small bottle and told her to just use a glass instead.
The reception service was terrible, especially when calling them. One of the women at reception, who was Indian, was particularly unhelpful.

Location was perfect and the staff was really kind, because when I arrived at night I had a problem with booking and they let us stay and then fixed it in the morning with booking themselves.

Location
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights with our two children, and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. Every single morning, my husband woke up with new bedbug bites. We reported the issue to the staff during our stay, but the only thing that was done was changing the bedsheets. We also messaged the manager directly and never even received a response.
No apology, no follow-up, no refund, and no real attempt to address the situation properly.
Very disappointed with how this was handled and would not stay here again.

The location is really good.
The place was dirty, didn't feel comfortable. The staff was half naked when we arrived. After we reported that the place was bad, he was unkind. There were reports of bed bugs... Definitely don't go there.

Positives:
Location: The three grocery stores (Lidl - the largest and cheapest, Little Greens, and Welbees) were about a one-minute walk. The buses (on the main street) were perhaps a three-minute walk. Lots of other shops, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and street food vendors were also very close.
Room, and bed: Comfortable, and spacious.
Bathroom: a decent shower, with lots of hot water.
Kitchen in my room: Fabulous. A stovetop two-burner unit, toaster oven, a toaster, kettle, pots, pans, mini fridge, plates, glasses, cutlery, and utensils. Everything you needed to do a basic meal.
Staff: friendly and efficient.
Check-in: fast, and easy. Room card to easily get in to your room. No other access card or keys needed to access the hotel.
Check-out: A box in the lobby to drop off your access card available 24-hours a day.
Hotel: four floors with stairs and most importantly two elevators to use. Super convenient and useful. Large water dispenser in the lobby (free) for drinking water or to use to cook.
Other: A Thai restaurant on the main level with tables and chairs to sit down and dine. We didn't eat there, but the food looked and smelled delicious.
The heating/air conditioning unit in the room:
It didn't work properly. I fooled around with the remote control, but had no luck. An employee came to my room to adjust the settings while I was away. I wanted HEAT, as it was cold in the room. I was expecting the room to be warmer after this service call, but when I returned to the room, the remote was turned off, and the room was still the same temperature. By now, I only had one more day to stay here, I left it as is. I bundled up with two comforters to stay warm. I then realized that the window in the kitchen did not close properly and there was a draft. I will contact the hotel to let them know.
Kitchen: not a negative, just a comment. To wash your dishes, you would have to call the staff to get a dish towel, dish cloth and detergent as there wasn't anything in the room. I made due with what I had and used the liquid soap in the bathroom and an extra towel.

I do not recommend people who are going to Malta to stay in this apartment. This is very old apartment and smells very very bad. There is poor kitchen facilities the beds were broken all towels. The windows can't be open it even if you're coming in summer it is going to be very hot inside. if you're going there to cook to save money get ready to make your clothes smell bad there is no air cleaning.

The location of the hotel and the size of the rooms were good.
The first day it rained and when we arrived at the hotel the room was flooded and the only thing they did was put three towels on the floor, the first two days it was cold in the room even with the heating at full capacity and the bathroom was cold every day because the window did not close, we also found a live cockroach in the bathroom and dead mosquitoes, we found general the cleanliness is decadent. Finally, the beds and pillows were not very good but they were fine.

it’s really close to the center and bus station, if you do not have high expectations regarding your accommodation, it’s really worth booking
There is a limited number of kitchen utensils, we had to ask for extra cups because there was only one for three of us, but the staff gave them to us without any problems

The staff were very friendly, and helpful. They gave us a room with a sea view, which was great. However, you can tell that the hotel is a bit older and the furnishings could use a refresh. Otherwise, everything was fine — we only stayed there to sleep anyway. Maybe insect screens would be a nice addition.

The Location, cheap price
Staff was unfriendly, others travelers were loud at night, there was no balcony. Mould on the bathroom ceiling. Overused shover head, the cover was peeling where you hold it in your hand. Hair dryer not working. One of the nightlight (at the bed) is not working. The clothes drying rack was bent.

It has a very good location.
By the way suit requires renovation for comfortable stay.
But if you plan just sleep there and rest time walking across the city, then there shouldn’t problem.
I prefer more clean apartments. It it was not so critical.
