The flat is located in the vicinity of Marsalforn Beach, a bus stop and lovely bay with a couple of nice restaurants; it's spacious, has two bathrooms, two terraces, properly working air conditioning. The kitchen and common space allow for use in a way not disturbing to other guests. No problems whatsoever with picking up the keys or disposing of them, a nice and helpful host.
The nearest shop is over 1 km away (but we could only identify 3 shops around the area) so if you're planning to buy more water/extensive groceries, it's better to use a car. When it comes to extra-flat things: if your departure flight from Malta is early, make sure to secure a direct airport transfer, Bolt and Uber services can have little accesisibility in the morning, the local taxi corporation may not come even if it confirms picking you up in the morning pretending they got a wrong address from you (it's not related to the flat, of course).

The communication with the owner was fantastic. He was very helpful and quick to reply with everything. The place was huge and we had a lot of space.
We didn't know that the AC was not free and there was a problem with one of the ACs, it wasn't working properly, but the owner solved it very quickly.

Thank you for a wonderful trip. Accommodation Kaccaturi Flats is a beautiful accommodation. Very clean and spacious. The beach and the city were very close. Beautiful view. The host was very nice, indulgent and helped us a lot whenever we needed. The price is perfect considering how the accommodation looked and how it was equipped. We didn't miss anything and thank you for a wonderful experience and stay at Kaccatur Flats.

lovely views and a balcony front and back to catch the sun all day. it felt like a home away from home.
a bit of a steep climb up the hill. it was ok for us but may be a problem for less able people

The owners of the property really made this experience, they couldn't be more welcoming or helpful if they tried. Very attentive, returned replies to messages very quickly, resolved any issues quickly and seemed to genuinely care we had a good holiday.
I wish there had been air con in the room, I had some terrible nights sleep due to the heat and being on the top floor. There were a few little issues with the apartment but these were quickly resolved by the owners. The apartment is at the top of the hill which in the heat was a killer at times and wasn't good for grandad who was restricted in his mobility.

The host came looking for us on the street in his car when we arrived. The apartments were on a hilly road and the bus stop which was just outside the apartment entrance had been moved owing road works. This was unbeknown to Google maps and thus to us. Neither did the host mention this anywhere on booking.com
So it was nice of him to search for us when we arrived and offer to drive us to the apartment with our luggage in his private car. We kindly agreed and after dropping us off and introducing us to the flat he returned once we had settled in to take us shopping to the local supermarket again in his private car!
Earlier he also supplied us with laundry detergent to use in the washing machine.
He answered our other concerns readily and speedily on the chat presented by booking.com
The flat was very spacious, with two bedrooms, two washrooms and a large kitchen cum dining area. There was no shortage of kitchen utensils and appliances.
The flat had two balconies with decent views.
The location of the flat was relatively ideal, since the bay area was close by.
There were clear instructions for waste recycling and provisions for recycling organic food waste.
There was good provision to hang laundry to dry with pegs to fasten the clothes to the line.
Wi-fi was provided and quite well functional.
Refrigerator came with freezer.
There were several adapter plugs provided to use European electronics in Maltese sockets.
The host also provided to sets of keys for the apartment to us, lest one of us gets locked out.
There was also a complimentary bottle of mineral water to welcome us.
The hospitality and friendliness of the host was clearly the game changer as we have not experienced this kind of human touch during vacations in continental Europe, especially not in Scandinavia, where every obligation is charged!
The elevator doors shut very quickly.
The ground floor entrance was quite ramshackle and needs a makeover.
TV was not running. Fixed by host next morning. At best two English language channels.
Payment only in cash, cards not accepted. Though we managed on our laptop to pay by international bank transfer using netbanking.
Air conditioning only in two bedrooms. It was charged to the meter by Euro coins payed in a slot. Nominal, though.
Only asked to wash clothes for fifteen minutes programs. Tried this but clothes needed more time.
Towels were leaving small balls of fiber on the body after being used. They seemed worn out.
Mosquitoes needed avoidance. Used repellent cream and shut all windows.
One of the toilet flushes did not work optimally.
Mattresses and pillows a bit uncomfortable.

Very good location and perfect for parking and close to all restaurants and bars
No air-conditioning during heatwave made flat unbearable especially during evenings
Wifi barely working in the first room causing us to use up or 3G.
Fridge wasn't closing needing a chair to keep it closed
Oven unfortunately doesn't regulate heat correctly.
If it wasn't for the above I would happily stay again.
