Perfect location for exploring UB, with a good part of the city's main attractions within a five minute walk. The owner speaks good English, and is very efficient in discussing plans and organizing trips. It’s also a convenient place to find group tours to join.
The accommodation is basic, yet perfectly suited to the needs and priorities of budget travelers — and the same is true for the tours.

Centrally Located. Nice and warm on cold nights. Staff were friendly and always onsite.
The hostel was over-stuffed with beds. Over the course of three nights, there was no hot water. They claimed this was a city-wide problem, but guests of other accommodations whom I met said they had no issues with hot water during the same period.
They also have a midnight curfew because guests need to he buzzed in through an intercom. Would be much nicer if they introduced a key system so guests can come and go as they please. UB is a fun city at night and you will want to check it out free of restrictions.

Airport bus drops you off just 5 mins away by walk.

Staff is very knowledgeable and can organize many things efficiently. The location is really great because is walking distance to nearly any attraction in Ulan Bator. Overall this is a convenient place that I would book again.
I recommend this place but the following are things for future guests to be aware of, regarding the tours:
-The tour to Terelj national park goes just to the entrance of the park, around the turtle rock and a nearby monastery. The area is not wild (there are parking lots, shops, cattle) . Consider other options if you want to enjoy nature or hiking.
-The driver of the tours may not speak English, so they cannot give you any insight about the places being visited. Read beforehand about the places or you will not know where you are.

The guesthouse has an excellent location! It's convenient to everything and the staff is incredibly helpful. They helped me with a lot of stuff and did not even charge me for it. I deeply appreciate their kindness and all they did for me. Will definitely come back!

It is a place that is very centrally located in regards to attractions, eating opportunities and getting to and from the bus terminals, train station and airport. It is safe and clean and feels quite homely. That said, when it is at full capacity, it gets a bit cramped, and during periods, toilet capacity is too small. And, especially in one of the dorms, there is very little space.
One thing that really makes this place a good base for a full time traveller, are staff. Bobby is a very reliable go to person when it comes to get things arranged and done. From something as simple as bus tickets, to bigger tours. Being an UB native, she obviously knows a bit or two about the city.
Her right hand Julia, is the travellers sunshine. She brightens everyone's day. A very nice person and a welcome sight after a gruelling long Mongolian bus journey.
As already mentioned, it can get a bit cramped when it is full, and there should be one more toilet ( without a capacity draining double function as bathroom as well). Except from this, there isn't really anything to whine about.

It's a homely place that is conveniently located for most of the attractions in UB. It is also fairly good located in regards to getting to the airport, Train station and dragon bus terminal. Bobby can help organise lot of things in Mongolia, and her helper Julia is a smiling sunshine brightening everybodys day.
It is a small place, so it gets cramped when it is at full capacity.

Decent location in UB. Bobby is amazingly helpful is planning things in UB and has some good tours on offer. Good atmosphere while I stayed in the hostel.

The location was smack dab in the city centre which allows you to visit all tourist spots by foot. And their tour packages were really affordable. The staff were friendly and amazing. Great place to interact with other travelers alike.
The price was quite steep for a hostel/guesthouse.
