This hostel offered an excellent deal at a pleasant location near Gandan. The single room with shared bath suited my needs perfectly. Though it was nothing fancy, it was safe and very economical. Great storage space as well.

The host is very helpful and friendly. Besides, this hostel is located near Gandan Temple, it takes around 5-7 mins walking. The surroundings are covered with CVS and some small supermarkets such as Carrefour which can fulfill your needs.
The blanket is too thin and is not warm enough compared to the weather in Mongolia.

Wonderful
The host was very nice and helpful. The location is within walking distance of the city center.
The beds are quite firm. The breakfast was good, but the portion wasn’t very large.

Staff was friendly. Nice hostel atmosphere. Clean - required to remove shoes. Laundry by the kilo. Quick turn-around.

The place is not easy to find. The toilet is sticky with hair on lid. My room door was broken with 2 big holes covered with calendar paper. Room advertised with TV but no. The owner is greedy. He was trying to take advantage of me with Mongolian money bills. Luckily, I got my math right. Pay a few more dollars to stay else where. This place is not worthy.

Good location.
I booked here because it was cheapest.
I recommend you to pay a dollar more and get better.
The actual place I stayed is quite different with photos they showing.
And the old lady and man was poor.
They charged higher price than i booked.
When I explained, the lady’s like that was old prices and we have bank taxes forward foreigners.

The hostel is old but very clean and comfortable. The location is good, just a minute or two walk to the tourist attraction Ganda Temple. Convenience store is also close by. You have to walk a little over 20-30 minutes to get to the center of town, but there is a bus that comes about 10 minutes away, so that is not a problem. The owners are very nice and will help you with tours.
Wi-Fi is a bit weak in some rooms.

Outside my room nr. 6 there was an intermittent light all night. It seemed to be in a disco.

The staff were super welcoming. It's located just near the city center so basically everything you want is at a walking distance. It was really warm and comfortable inside the hostel despite the cold weather outside and it's fairly priced. Breakfast was superb as well. And especially the size and comfort of the common room is top tier.
