The blanket is too thin and is not warm enough compared to the weather in Mongolia.

The beds are quite firm. The breakfast was good, but the portion wasn’t very large.

The place is not easy to find. The toilet is sticky with hair on lid. My room door was broken with 2 big holes covered with calendar paper. Room advertised with TV but no. The owner is greedy. He was trying to take advantage of me with Mongolian money bills. Luckily, I got my math right. Pay a few more dollars to stay else where. This place is not worthy.

I booked here because it was cheapest. I recommend you to pay a dollar more and get better. The actual place I stayed is quite different with photos they showing. And the old lady and man was poor. They charged higher price than i booked. When I explained, the lady’s like that was old prices and we have bank taxes forward foreigners.

Wi-Fi is a bit weak in some rooms.

Outside my room nr. 6 there was an intermittent light all night. It seemed to be in a disco.

The hostel was overbooked during Naadam. We had to switch room (I hate packing).

I payed in cash upon arriving, the price was not a a round price. The landlady told me she did not have any change to give me back, so I ended up payinga bit more. After talking to other people of the guesthouse, I learn she does this with everybody. The money she gains each time is derisory, but in principle it is wrong. Wifi was very weak and often didn’t work. I had booked a bed in a 8 beds dormitory, but instead I got a sofa bed in a 8 beds dormitory, which means we were 9 in the room. Since it was a sofa put against the wall at the end of the room, everyone inside the room could see me. When you enter the room my spot was the first thing you could see. I had absolutely no privacy, contrary to the other people who could put towels or sheets around the bed frame. I have reserved 4 nights, and I was told I would get the sofa only 1 night and then I could have a bed. Finally I got the sofa for 3 nights, and just when it was my last night I was told I could change to a bed. I said that there was only 1 night left for me and that now that I was ‘settled’ it was useless, but she insisted for me to change to a bed « because other people are coming ». I went to the bed next to the sofa and another girl who had just arrived got the sofa bed. The land lady also accepted 2 people, even though the hostel was full and put them on the floor of the dormitory, which went from a 8 beds room to a 11 beds room. The room is not small but not extremely big either, and with 2 people sleeping in the middle of it, it was a bit difficult to move. I was there when they arrived, so I knew I had to go around them. But if I have been out at this time and came back at night, not using the light to go to my sofa/bed I would have walked on them for sure. 1 toilet for women and 1 toilet for men. I had to ask 3 times for toilet paper, because it was constantly empty. Why not letting at least 1 or 2 spare roll inside ? There is even a small furniture to put it on !
