Thank you so much for everything. The family who owns the Hostel is so nice an helpful. They organized a great trip in the Terelj National Park for me. And helped me with everything else, answered all my questions and looked that I was feeling good.

The family are so friendly, helpful and clean the shared bathroom everyday. Also bathroom was separated by gender which is nice :)
There was only one shared bathroom for man and woman each (there were two common shower rooms and toilets though) so sometimes you may need to wait.
I stayed at twin room, and the key was broken(did not close both from inside and outside). Since this is safe area nothing happened but it would had been more comfortable with the key closed for twin room.

Location was walkable distance from the centre of town. The owner arranged a driver for me to do a day tour out of town - he was friendly and extremely helpful; I asked him to take me to the bus station on Sat morning.
Noise from a heating or water unit was disruptive during the night. The owner offered to move me but I only had one night to go so put up with it. Her husband had previously told me they were fully booked for that night.

Lovely staff and nice atmosphere in the communal kitchen. They made an effort with the breakfast too.

Excellent central location, kind hosts, clean, comfy beds and reasonably priced. I appreciated the efforts to vary a little the small included breakfast.

Very close to the Gandantegchenling Monastery and quiet at night. Room was clean and quite spacious.
The curtain can't block light early in the morning. The bed is a bit small. No hairdryer and only 1 towel is provided for double room.

Wonderful breakfast of omelette with fresh eggs, vegables, sausage and toast with jam. Tea is always available and the dining room has a full size fridge and microwave. The hot water tank works well for showers and I appreciate the posted reminder to please conserve water. Oyuna and Gan are very friendly, kind and attentive hosts who communicate in English well. On the morning I checked out, I requested they call me a cab and they kindly had a family member drive me to meet my work group to depart for the countryside.
Not much sound insulation between rooms and the hallways, however this wasn't a problem for me. If you want to sleep very late here, you might get woken by kids or a vacuum cleaner.

The staff are nice, polite and helpful. There's a temple nearby, and ample of eateries nearby.
The room heater is not working. The wifi is REALLY weak. Sometimes, it's not even able to connect from 1st floor where the mixed bed dorm is at (We use 4g data). The hostel's bathroom is under renovation, so only 1 female shower is available. Only hot water, (no warm or cold) is available. The breakfast is not like the pictures above - it's a smaller portion. No microwave available.

The staff were really kind, and the hostel is actually decent, but.... because of the reasons above...
I wouldn't recommend this place at all. ;(

The owners were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, supermarkets and restaurants were nearby, also the Gandan Tempel was just a short walk away
