Exceptional
We loved this hotel. Location was an 8 minutes walk to Sukhbaatar Square, the main square in the city. The Tourist Information in the Square is friendly and helpful and the young man who helped me spoke top English. For an extra 5 minutes you get the Genghis Khan Museum, which is excellent, well organized and displayed. The Executive Manager with flawless English and enthusiasm, recommended a fabulous lunch restaurant with generous portions of home cooked food, local and delish. She was always available for advice with a smile. Room had everything we needed. The best hotel we stayed in our 3 country trip!

Great location, clean, friendly well-trained staff, pleasant decor. Heating & cooling unit, mini fridge, in-room safe, elevator.
My room smelled so strongly of smoke that it was as if someone were actively smoking in it. At first the smell was obscured by a too-strong fragrance that gave me a headache. Once I reported the problem, staff kindly moved me to a different room. The room surfaces should be professionally cleared of the smoke rather than dowsed with perfume. There is a note on the bathroom wall warning guests to properly use the shower curtain so that the floor will not get flooded. I really doubt the flooding is due to misuse of the curtains. The tile and grout could be fixed so that water flows properly into the tub. Now when water hits the walls of the shower, it will flow to the lowest point, which is the sunken grout channel along the wall. They could perhaps fill it higher or add a triangle of blocking tile to the front corner of the tub to prevent flooding. Sorry this section ended up looking long. Really, I liked the hotel much more than I disliked these issues.

The location, very close to the square. But note that there are also other hotels close to the square.
Upon check out, they charged me 10 dollars for taking the laundry bag. Mind you, this is a flimsy piece of drawstring bag no better than a trash bag. They didn’t indicate any price on it at the wardrobe like they do with the minibar. You wouldn’t know that there is a charge at all! And what kind of hotel charges for a laundry bag, anyway?? It’s no different from soap, shampoo and slippers that are usually provided by the hotels. 10 dollars, what a scam! When I contested it, the receptionist had a very bad attitude about it and lied that “every hotel in Mongolia charges for the laundry bag.” That is so not true!

We arrived in a morning time and they were so kind to give us free check-in much earlier. Staff was very friendly so we enjoy our stay! Great price, amazing location! There is a nice massage salone in tje basement.

good location
the service is poor. we asked for toiletries at around 10pm but were told by the staff that room service wasn’t available and we had to buy from convenience stores outside!! also we were assigned a room far from the elevator and the internet was very poor there
