I am so grateful that I can be among those very lucky people who could experience the top notch services of the royal house hotel. The pleasant smell of piss in my room made my nights unforgettable. The bathroom was probably designed by an award winner interior designer. The nice “walls barely standing still” type of style is really my favourite. For me the showers were outstanding, becuase I have a unique taste in this segment, I like my shower as dirty as possible, so it was probably specially made for me, thanks for the hotel crew that they thought about this. My biggest favourite was the special decoration of my room, a hole on the wall, with a rotten dead bird in it, but luckily it did not smell so bad. After these amazing nights in the piss smell, the breakfasts were really the once in a lifetime experience even though the food was like I would think twice to give it to my dog, but thank god they didn’t give much of it so I couldn’t eat enough to get dierrea.

Only location. Decided the hotel because it’s near from the big market.
We arrived there about 7pm but had to wait for cleaning room. And the staff had a mistake about the booking situation, so after got the money for 2 triple bed rooms and gave us only 1 room key for 6 persons!!! No hot water shower for the night, said until the mext morning 6pm. But no hot water came. They said just sorry, and wait. After 1 and half hour waiting, said pay back or change room for shower. Then the staff gave me a master key and let me check 5 rooms just checked out, if the room has hot shower, and I did! There was only 1 room has hot shower. Wifi was too slow. Really tired 4 stars hotel.

If you just need a place to sleep - this hotel is fine. The bed is actually very comfortable and the room is nice an spacious. The staff is friendly, but speaking and understanding english is sometimes a bit a problem.
It could be cleaner, some people hat cocroaches in their room. And the walls seem to be very thin, you hear everything that goes on in the hotel.

Very friendly and understanding staff with great English
The bed was very awkward. Too little light in the room. Breakfast didn't taste so good. And I found cockroaches in my room, and leave this place

The staff was very nice and helped me find vegetarian food and a ride to the airport. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Ulan Bataar is not the nicest town in terms of things to do and see, but this hotel is a great place to start or end a trip to Mongolia.

There are 4 choices of breakfast with two pieces of dry white bread with some jam and butter. The first 2 days OK, after that boring and I started buying stuff in the nearby supermarket. It would be easy to organise a simple buffet breakfast! Cook not there until 8,00, so before that you get unasked a cold sandwich from the fridge, irrespective of your day before choice.
There is a lot of couleur local: that means at times drunk guys and girls in the corridors and parties in the rooms. If you don't like that maybe look for another hotel or.....is it everywhere like that? I could smile about it, someone else might get upset. I asked at time of booking for a table and chair to work at with computer: chair came after 3 days, table after 7: 'slow' service!

They upgraded my room to deluxe room which has bedroom and living-room very comfy sofa. I really enjoyed elegant interior and they have al-cart menu for the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and kind. The location was like center and there are many shopping centers few minutes away. The room has mini bar and it had many snacks and it was cheap. The room was cheap, it's value for money.
