The staff is unbelievable. The unprofessionalism is absolutely shocking. As a tourist, I did not expect the type of treatment I received. They genuinely committed fraud. After taking payment, they lied about the checkout date and simply told me I have to check out early and they will keep all the money and if I dont like it theyll call the police. I have the piece of paper in my hand that shows my correct checkout date and they said the boss changed his mind. In the United States this would be blatantly illegal. If they were to refund me my money, then I would happily leave and stay elsewhere. But I just dont understand why they are doing this. Times must be tough if theyre trying to scam me over $40-50. Really shocking

We explicitely asked at the reception for staff not to enter the room while we would be gone. When we came back, we found things moved around (but bed not made or cleaned) and then discovered that money went "missing". When talking to the manager, he admitted that cleaning staff entered the room. When asked why they have entered when they haven't cleaned, he did not reply. He was also not helpful talking to staff. The safe in the room did not work, btw. Maybe it is a coincidence, maybe not..

I paid 70 euros for one night, the WC was broken, can you imagine it? :( The stuff was ok (some of them were ok, some were very "interesting"), the breakfast was also ok (probably the best in this hotel), but the hotel is old, the room had a very bad smell. I lived in two different rooms (another room was paid by the invited organization), but in the both two rooms the smell was very very bad, really very bad. I don't recommend this hotel anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Platinum Hotel, we were especially delighted by the wide selection of breakfast, the location of the hotel, and the wonderful staff. They were genuinely hospitable, polite and friendly. The hotels rooms are spacious, with very comfortable beds. Everythings clean and nice. Truly one of the best hotels in Ulaanbaatar. We are happy when the expectations match the reality! Thank you and we definitely are looking forward to visiting you again.

Disappointing
Rooms are OK
They charged my card after 2 days from check out with excuse that we remove a base of a boiler (that was not true). No excuses from managemant and card is still charged withour a reasons. We cancelled our stay in this hotel aswe don't want to return. Unacceptable way to to. I contact booking.com on my return at home regarding this hotel
