Location was very central and close to most things, as well easy access to public transit.
Hotel did not inform that the restaurants that are advertised as being in the same building were not just closed for the holidays, but closed and being entirely renovated. That would have been nice to know as that was a large part of why I booked that hotel. The beds were extremely uncomfortable; they're so firm that they barely dent when you sit on them. Also, apparently that street is where people like to hang out, and if you have a room facing the street all you hear is their loud music, engines revving and party antics. The free breakfast was laughable. Fewest options I have ever seen at a hotel. They also claimed to have wine/food in the evenings, but that area was always closed when I checked it out.

The room was acceptable and comfortable enough to stay and the price is also a good value at this location.
There was people knocking on the next door from early morning it lasted for like 3-4 hours. Could not rest well due to the knocking noise.

Very accommodating. I came a couple of days early and left one day later than my group, which stayed at the same hotel, and the staff made sure I didn't need to move rooms. Location was great. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful in making various recommendations for me.
I have a compression sleeve that I brought for my ankle and needed to put it in a freezer (so I could ice it daily). I had no problem in my hotel in Japan but here they weren't able to put it in their freezer. When you have a chronic (albeit minor) health issue, the extra service is what is really appreciated.

Location is central and easy access to all the main tourist attractions. Good breakfast.
I have been a returning customer for several years bringing several coworkers to stay along with me. Although on my most recent visit I came alone, I was charged a double occupancy fee, despite clearly informing the clerk that I was alone. When I complained about the charge, the clerks refused to consider my request. So I ended up paying for two people for 3 days; that is 2 beds and 2 breakfasts. And their rates had already gone up significantly.

Modern, clean hotel. Very near Sukhbaatar Square and other attractions. English speaking staff. Buffet bfast starts at 5:00 am. Daily cleaning, changing towels. 2 free water bottles daily. Was upgraded without my asking!

Location is perfect for a stay in Ulaanbaatar. You can walk everywhere. Breakfast was in a nice, sunny room and had ample choices. There is a good bar/restaurant right below the hotel which is quite convienent.

Great location. Had one night there after riding motorcycles from Ulaanbaatar to the Gobi desert and back. Very nice hotel, staff was awesome and the beds were comfortable.

Breakfast was pretty good, it had more items than I expected. Consistent issue with Coffee machine. Staff in the front desk area was nice and helpful. Limited but understandable English.
I got $300 USD stolen from my luggage. I had it at my previous destination, then it disappeared at Hotel Nine. It was buried under my clothes in a zippered pocket. Even if it was laying out on top, no one has the right to steal. I didn't notice it until I got home, but only the cleaning staff had access to my room. I've been to 70 countries, and have never gotten anything stolen from me. I know the management will deny it, but rest assured, it happened and it happened here. Watch your valuables.

location was great -- great vegan restaurant around the corner and coffee shops -- close to Sukhbatar Square and walkable to many destinations. I had just come from 2 weeks in Western Mongolia living in gers so the private, clean shower was especially appreciated by this New York City person.
the breakfast was not great -- the things that should have been hot -- miso soup, rice, eggs, coffee -- were all cold. Thankfully, UB has a thriving coffee scene so I went out for a hot coffee in the morning.

Amazing location, a couple of restaurants downstairs, 2 convenience stores (CU across the street and a GS25 next door), very clean hotel, nice breakfast served 4-10am, they can arrange airport pickup/drop off for you, reception has English-speaking staff, mini-bar is packed with drinks and snacks, walking distance to museums, malls and tons of other restaurants
