Very Good
The staff was so nice and speaks fluent English. Located near the Sukhbaatar Square, the very centre of Ulaanbaatar city, and you can find super markets and convenience stores within a few or less minutes walk.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The entrance was a little hard to find.
You can enter the door with the nameplate of the Hotel. Password is on the plate.
The reception is at the 3rd Floor.

1. Excellent location, very close to the city centre. Sukhbaatar Square is only a 10min walk. Shops, eateries, cafes, supermarkets etc are within 5-10min walking distance
2. Lovely staff who take care of the place. Friendly, helpful and humble
3. Good breakfast mostly toast, 2 eggs, sausage and coffee/tea.
4. Common area was nice and big to socialise (but winter meant there were hardly any travellers when I went)
5. Shared fully equipped kitchen to make your own food if needed
6. Good beds with privacy curtains, sockets, light, lockers, tower etc.
1. Property is 4 flights of stairs to walk from the ground floor, no lift. Harder for those with bigger/heavier bags
2. Wifi is a bit of a disappointment. Though its UFB the speed takes a hit and lot of buffering time
3. Only one toilet/bath on the side that I stayed n there were 12 dorm beds. Can be a bit of wait in the morning rush
4. Winter meant that there were almost no tours to the country side that could be organised. Staff were not around for me to find out about the tours/costs etc. Everyone tucked away in their beds due to cold :)

Lovely that they make sure everyone is properly informed about the facility and services. Breakfast is delicious, daily cleaning is perfect. Reasonable price, good service, comfortable bed. Located right in the middle of UB which was really convenient. The staff was very friendly and thoughtful. Like he even gifted me a candy to eat on the way back when i checked out. As a Mongolian living abroad, it was a great stay for 6 days to start my little trip back home. I’ll be happy to book here again and try one of their tours next time.

Location, in the center amd 5 min walk from the bus station.
Wifi was ok.
Breakfast was fine.
It is very very quiet. It's not a place to socialize and meet other travelers. Good for 2 nights sleeping. The door code is a struggle, but you'll get used to it. It's on the 4th floor of a residential building with no elevator.

Good location. Helpful, friendly local staff. Nice spacious lounge with a guitar for those who play. Free breakfast.
Basically it's not a hostel but a Soviet style apartment that could use some serious upgrading. Poor insulation - it was so cold I had to sleep in my street clothes. No soap or shampoo provided and the towels were rough and old. It seems the staff also live on the premises, making things feel a bit cramped and awkward. There was one overworked (and apparently, unpaid) Filipino volunteer who would constantly complain about the work to some guests, while being nice to others, creating an awkward atmosphere. Even with the (rather monotonous) free breakfast it seems poor value for what you're paying.

The hostel was great. Friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was delicious. Centrally located. They arranged an airport shuttle for a little extra which was helpful because I got in pretty late. I ended up booking one of their tours which you can do for a little bit cheaper than some of the other options online and they can customize it for you as needed. I would say paying a little extra for an English guide is worth it. Dulgun was able to tell me a lot about the Mongolian culture and was a good friend to have along for a solo traveler. Overall, i would recommend and stay again!
I think its located on the third or fourth floor so quite a few stairs bit it wasn't too bad. There is only one bathroom but I never really had to wait for it.

We only stayed one night there. Staff was very helpful and they organised the airport drop-off taxi for us. They also prepared tea and coffee for our 5am start, which was very thoughtful.
The shared bathroom was a bit dirty.

One of our best stays in 2 weeks in Mongolia! My group (6 people) stayed in UB for a few days at the beginning of our trip and the bar was set so high. It's definitely more of a hostel situation, but the place had a more mature atmosphere than a youth hostel. It wasn't loud and, while located downtown, it's not in an especially busy part of downtown so there was not a lot of street noise. Very clean, the staff spend a lot of time making sure everything is hygenic. Our host (Gana) was also incredibly helpful and we would have been lost without her! We had an issue with another tour we scheduled several days after our stay ended and she was right there to help translate for us. Will always recommend to everyone I talk to who is interested in visiting Mongolia.
Hot water was having an issue while we were there but it wasn't a big problem. It's not a hotel so don't expect a 5-star resort, but it is simple and close to everything downtown with a very friendly staff so definitely more than adequate for our needs.

Very central location and social, with an amazing backpacker feel. Common area is good for socialising and just having your coffee or tea on the down time. Breakfast is included in the price. Mongolian staff are great!
Theres a long-term old lady who stays here who might or might not be part of a cult. I really love this place but decided not to stay a third time because she hounds me for money (for her ‘spiritual son’) and always talks about her religion just because we share the same language. Its annoying if you just want to relax and she comes and talks your ear off.
I wanted to talk to fellow backpackers but she’ll drag me off to discuss about whatever. Maybe a mental health check is needed too. Anyways, its harmless but beware.
To the staff, I’m sorry for what you have to put up with. And pls dont tell her i wrote this - she already spams my email enough. Thank you!
