Hotel Parami provided a very comfortable stay during my five nights there. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the facilities in the room were very good. I particularly appreciated the decent-sized mugs provided for making a drink in the mornings - it's the small things that count! Although it was the rainy season, I appreciated the fact that it was still possible to sit on the roof terrace and enjoy the views. The restaurant menu was expansive and varied, although I enjoyed the lamb chops so much that I ordered them almost every night.
The location was a little bit inconvenient for the places that I needed to go, and many taxi drivers are reluctant to leave their own little area of Yangon at the moment, which made it a bit more complicated to get transport back to the hotel, but this is a relatively minor quibble, and not the fault of the hotel.

Disappointing
The breakfast was supposed to be provided but was not due to the lack of staff. The view was good, though the balcony was very small. The room was well decorated and comfortable, especially the bed.
None of the services were available. I understand there's covid and a coup to take into consideration, but not even being able to keep the bar open is a pretty low standard. The pool was closed also - and I was shocked to see a sign saying guests are charged $10 USD to use the pool! No room service or food or spa services running either. A let's not forget the dirty, stained chairs in room 710, and the unwashed floors. Internet access was incredibly slow, especially considering I think I was the only guest in the entire hotel. The fridge so was shallow it was difficult to get it to store anything. And let's not forget about the ants. I know it's impossible to get rid of them all but measures can be taken to keep them outside, not scurrying across my desk.

Concierge was very helpful for arranging transportation.
The pool really needs to be vacuumed and cleaned. There were particles floating in it and mold on the sides. Neglected.
