The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Definitely not a 5-star hotel. The bathrooms need renovation, as they are old and don’t match the recently refurbished rooms. The breakfast is decent: you’ll find enough to eat, but don’t expect anything extraordinary.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and very well designed. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. They offer free tea and water bottles in the room. The internet connection is good. The bed was comfortable. The room had a beautiful view of the river. The entrance hall of the hotel is beautiful, particularly the wall paintings. Breakfast is very good, and so are lunch options. The staff is very nice and welcoming. A large park is near the hotel as well as the river which is very nice to take a walk next to. There is free parking at the hotel.
The water in the pool was cold. Part of the area around the hotel are some buildings that look poorly maintained. I did not notice shops nearby.

Breakfast was good. A nice selection but most food was cold. Especially on the day we left (Sunday). The beds, for us, were horrible. Plus, the sheets and duvet cover had some holes in them. The hotel was beautiful and it was located in a great area. Close to all things we needed to do. The staff was super friendly and always gave us 100%.
The beds were uncomfortable for us and the bathroom needed better upkeep. Not the cleaning but clean up after maintenance repairs.

Location is out of town, but for events near the Sports Center it's convenient.
For a hotel of 5 stars, I would expect better service. It started off on the wrong foot, we had to wait 20 minutes for the desk clerk to show up for the registration. The room had (what we thought) a welcome chocolate, that we later found out we had to pay for (it was not in the minibar, it was on the table). There was a printed notification on the lobby that the tap water was not drinkable for a few days due to construction works on the road, so we assumed the water on the table was on the house... we were about to exit the parking lot when the desk clerk came running to tell us we had to pay for the water too... It was a bit embarrassing, especially as we had already told him what we consumed from the minibar. Room Service was pricey and even though they assured what we ordered would be ready in 20 minutes, it was 45 minutes and 3 calls later that they knocked on the door. Overall, I've stayed at better places in Skopje for half the price.

I had had many stays. Rooms great and great restaurant.
The room cleaners should be made aware if a guest is only one night and come to clean after checkout. Twice the room cleaners wanted to come in before I checked out. This last time she knocked once and let herself in before I could even respond. I could have been standing there undressed. I would have been checking out soon. Your system should have something in place to let them know the guest has checked out.
