The hotel owner was incredibly hospitable. She only spoke German and Macedonian but she made every effort to help me and my wife understand. Breakfast included a personally made coffee, and a continental spread. The view from our balcony was astonishing. Lake Ohrid is truly a treasure to behold. We highly recommend Villa Swiss for anyone looking to vacation in the beautiful country of Macedonia.
The bathrooms were smaller than expected but it did not negatively impact our experience :)

Location was superb. Right on the beach of Lake Ohrid. Views from the room was amazing!
Warm water not available one day. Water leak in WC. Facilities were ok.

Nice position on the front of the lake.

Didnt get the room I booked.The room I was given was small and the bathroom so small you could barely move around.Exposed air conditioning pipe from the other room looked really bad. The bed was not comfortable,two single beds pulled together with old mattresses.

The owners are friendly and the room was very spacious.
The beach is not private at all and it is very very crowded all the time. There is also loud music the whole day coming from the caf next door, which was very annoying. Moreover, there was a festival on the beach when we were there and the music was VERY loud until late at night. We found ourselves running away from the hotel whenever we could. I would only recommend this place if you like partying and being in big crowds the whole time. If you want to relax and enjoy the lake, I would book elsewhere.

No frills hotel with a good room and lake view, on the beach. We saw a lot of hotels you need to walk to the beach - this one is on the beach already. Good breakfast. Good porch (balcony). Nearby restaurants can close around 10, so have you dinner in Ohrid before arriving.

The location is great with very nice view to the beach, and the villa provides free umbrellas and sunbeds. Staff is friendly and kind. Breakfast is delicious, but not so rich.
Hairdryer is missing. The bathroom is very small. In the night, we had been awakened several times by something (probably mouse) digging in the wooden roof, as our room was in the attic. The WiFi password written in room was incorrect and we didn't manage to connect.

location, beautifull view of a beautifull lake.
Cleanliness, there were spider webs on the corners, dirty windows, bed linens didnt feel clean. Loud music from nearby tavern until late night. Stuffy smell
in the rooms. Small rooms(10 sqm) and bathroom. Definetelly not 4 star conditions.
