The staff are definitely amazing and were super friendly and helpful! The room was also good and clean!
The only negative point was definitely the toilet. There is no proper shower box, it is very cramped. Also its not really possible to control temperature, it either burns you or its super cold.

Stayed 5 nights. Room was quiet so you hear nothing from busy street outside. Nice friendly hostel staff, helpful with information. Also kind to animals.

The hosts Nicoletta and Valentin approached us friendly.They gave information about the city and bus routes.
The room is directly opposite the toilet and there is a bad smell coming from the toilet. The room was not clean, there were spider webs on the edges of the cupboards. The furniture was dusty. The bed is uncomfortable and it is very noisy because it has a wooden base. The toilet and bathroom are compressed in a small place, impossible to take a shower. Towels were not provided. The host told that it's because the price is low. So honest..

I stayed at this hostel last year. The location is very good, very close to the bus stop. About 15 minutes walk to the lake. Valentin is a very helpful person. He was very kind.

Great place for the price, especially in the height of the summer season. Valentin is amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Such a great guy.
Was a bit noisy by the road, especially on the weekend. Nothing too much though.

Valentin is a lovely person. EDIT - I take that back after reading the owners reply. Holy Molly, you're a 55 year old man and can't take responsibility? Instead, hysterically scream by text on your client that he's lying to try to protect your business in the most childish way possible? Wow, talk about a wrong first impression. Pathetic.
Sadly, I will always give 1/10 for a place that has bed bugs (which is very rare on the places I book with Booking). There was a bed bug that did do a number on me, and from what Valentin said ("I did have Japanese tourists that got bites here") it seems he knew about this issue and didn't really sort it out, that's a lack of professionalism. I appreciate the fact he gave me back a full refund, but I will always warn future travelers about places that I got attacked by bed bugs as it's pure hell.

Host was so so lovely - she let us check in 5 hours early, made sure all our needs were met and was full of information and passion for Ohrid and its attractions.

Good location near the bus station, a friendly staff, good price, and cute cats.
No toilet paper, no towel, and no fan despite they are shown as provided on the facility page. It was horribly hot at night. Its okay there is none of those things, but then it shouldnt be on what they provide since those can be factors to chose the accommodations for guests.
