Everything is on the spot. Super friendly and helpful host, clean room and bathroom, free private parking, kitchen with all amenities, A/C working perfectly, spacious terrace with the view on magnificent Rumija mountain. I could not ask for better. I needed to work and the host even brought me one great office chair instead of the standard one which was in the room.

Owner was very friendly and used Google translate effectively for communication. The rooms are new and use nice quality stone for flooring and stairs. My room had a large balcony with a couple chairs and a clothes-drying rack.
Location was not ideal for those without a car. My room had a private bathroom, but it was outside the room, so you had to go into public area to use it. The owner also told me it was 7 euros to use the wash machine. She didn't ultimately charge me, perhaps because i did everything and used my own soap, or because she forgot. It is pretty steep price if actually had to pay.

Everything was OK expect as detailed below.
The owner was using his own app (which was apparently linked to booking.com) to advise the price we had to pay for our stay and this price was a few EUR higher than the price shown on booking.com. The lady was friendly and helpful and we finally agreed to pay the booking.com price but she should sort this issue out in general.

The place was clean, well equipped and the owner friendly and helpful ? She was very sweet - used Google translate to communicate all the necessary information, and said "this way I can speak all the languages in the world, since I am too old to go back to school "!!! ?
Our bathroom was private, but outside our room, across the lobby... ☹️ The bathtub was clogged, and although we were told it would be sorted out, it didn't. We had to shower in the paddle which emptied out too slowly, leaving the tub full of debris that probably came back up from the pipes... ? We were given two face towels each, because bath towels were not available... ?

The room was very clean and tidy. The landlady was super helpful and kind. She explained us all around the area. It is a 20 min walk to the beach which is very calm and nice. The place is also close to bus station and train station, a big plus. All in all, I would definitely recommend Guest House Lalic!
Just an advice that It would be better if there is a sign or a more lightened street when you come around KIPS. Because at first we couldn’t be sure if we are in the right way or not since it was a little dark but still it is fine.

I booked a stay with them. They dishonored my reservation and downgraded my room from a one-bedroom apartment to a one with a bathroom with a separate entrance across a corridor. They still demanded a full price and when I asked for a discount, they laughed in my face. They had a cheek to say that they needed my originally booked room for their own party (they needed that fridge???).
I passed my complaint to Booking.com. The accommodation initially agreed to compensate, only to dishonor this agreement the next day, communicating in broken English and throwing a couple of insults on the way.
Picture yourself the broken ethics of those people.
They feel they can do whatever they like with your reservation and still charge you the full price.
Moreover, although the location is convenient to reach the bus and train stations, the house is in a bit of industrialised zone, giving rather an unpleasant impression.
The balcony that they advertise is shared, it is an external corridor allowing access to many rooms. Therefore, rather than enjoy the balcony you have to keep that door and window covered for privacy. Meaning a dark room.
EDIT FOLLOWING THE HOTEL RESPONSE: The property manager is a dishonest and arrogant liar. I did not want to cancel the booking. I was simply demanding to either be given the room that I booked and paid for (i.e. with an ensuite bathroom) or to be given a discount for a substandard room I was forced to be in.
His entire story has been made up. Watch out for staying with such dishonest people.

It is very nice and clean, quiet and peaceful place in the middle of not so quiet and peaceful surroundings. The hostess was lovely, friendly and helpful. The family dog makes the place home like ?. Walking distance both to the centre, beach and bus/railway station.
A bit hard to find, but when you find the way, there is a nice and quiet little neighbourhood squeezed in more like ndustrial area.

Full apartment with extra blankets and kitchen essentials. Has a balcony, good wifi, and enough power outlets. An all-around decent place and a nice house in itself.
Scratchy bedding. Couldn't get much hot water. No hand soap for the bathroom. No big towels either. And I was charged a higher price upon arrival than what booking.com said.
Location is kind of sketchy, behind a few warehouses and in a forlorn area. Found bloody paw-prints on the driveway, which was worrisome.

Instead of €23.5 per night the owner asked for €25.0 (excluding €1 tourist tax). She said that Booking calculated the price "incorrectly". I didn't argue but I think it's unacceptable.
All the furniture, dishes, and blankets in the room are very basic and old.
