An absolutely charming and cozy apartment! It was spotless, warm, and thoughtfully designed with a stylish touch. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the city center, making everything easily accessible. Very nicely designed apartment where we had everything we needed. Sea is near, just at the end of the street. Apartment was clean, host was very welcoming. This accommodation also offered breakfast, which was not very big, but the fact that host came in the morning and brought it to apartment was great and we enjoyed it on the balcony. I would definitely recommend staying there.
We didn't know that turning all of the switches off next to bathroom entrance would turn off the water boiler too. So that when we wanted to go take shower in the morning, we only had cold water, but it wasn't a big problem for us.

While the location of the apartment in Utjeha, Montenegro, was ideal—close to the beach and in a peaceful area—and the modern furnishings were stylish and comfortable, unfortunately, the rest of my stay was disappointing. Beyond the nice decor, several issues arose that detracted from the experience. Despite the apartment’s potential, the overall experience left much to be desired. I appreciated the effort in the apartment's design, but everything else failed to meet expectations.
Our stay at this property was a nightmare. The apartment was disgustingly unclean—towels had blood stains, and the bed sheets were covered in hair from previous guests. Both TVs in the apartments were broken and never fixed, despite constant promises from the host. Speaking of the host, he was absolutely the worst. For two days, we had no water, and his excuse? He simply didn’t want to provide it. To make things worse, some of my family members were suffering from bad colds, and the host didn’t lift a finger to help or address the unsanitary conditions.
Every time we reported an issue—whether it was the dirty room, the broken TVs, or other problems—the host blatantly lied, claiming he’d fix everything. Nothing was ever resolved. And don’t even get me started on the food: breakfast consisted of one egg, a cheap drink, butter, and a piece of bread. It was appalling. Avoid this place at all costs!

The host was really lovely and very welcoming. She was waiting for us and check in was easy.
It was walkable to the beach and there was a small shop down the road which you could get the basics.
While the apartment was ok, unfortunately for the price it was not worth it. Our shower simply didnt work properly. The drain was not working and it quite literally flooded when we tried to have a shower at a normal water pressure. It flooded the whole shower, the bathroom and then water went into the hallway as well under the door. This was not a simple drain issue, it just seemed it was not built properly. The only way we could shower was with loads of towels around the shower and all over the bathroom.
There was also quite a bad smell of sewage which was very evident when sitting outside on the balcony. The parking was tricky as it was down a very narrow road and when you have other cars parked there, unless you have a small car, it will be very hard to park.
I also dont think the water was very nice to swim in. It felt dirty.

Ove godine nam je prvi put da odemo u Utjehu i trebam napisati da su domaćini divni i susretljivi. Za sve što nam je trebalo bilo je obezbijeđeno. Parking je odmah ispred apartmana. U blizini apartmana je mala prodavnica u kojoj se može naći sve što je potrebno. Sam apartman je na lijepom i tihom mjestu, baš za pravi odmor. Plaža je blizu i imali smo mogućnost iznajmljivanja ležaljki i suncobrana, ali ako nismo željeli iznajmiti, bez ikakvih problema mogli smo bilo gdje staviti svoje peškire.
Put do apartmana je strm, nije pogodan za početnike, samo za iskusnije vozače. Plaža također nije prilagođena manjoj djeci, ima nekih manjih dijelova plaže u kojima se ulazi postepeno u more.

The apartment is very new and modern, impeccably clean, everything works properly. It is well equipped for a pleasant self-catering stay. The people were great as well, the owner was kind enough to arrange the administrative formalities, and especially the housekeepers were more than kind (some reviews mention an unpleasant woman who smokes - probably they were talking about some other person).
The beach in this part of Utjeha (called the Cold bay) has some of the cleanest and most refreshing sea waters in Montenegro. It is a rocky/concrete beach with many sea stairs, and it is a 5-minute walk from the apartment. You can reach other surrounding beaches in Utjeha and Kruče by a 30-45 minutes walk; the hidden gem, Crystal beach, is only 15 minutes away. A trip to the Long beach of Ulcinj costs 15€ by taxi (make sure you call an Ulcinj-based taxi company).
Highly recommended, I would definitely like to come here again!
Indeed the neighbourhood dogs bark a lot at night - but it can be easily solved with earplugs :)
The apartment cannot be found on Google Street view (it was built later), but there is a board on the main road showing the directions (this is actually not a negative point ).
