The staff is utterly indifferent and at times obnoxious.No service at all,instead, I'd give "full marks for false eyelashes and botoxed female staff."". If that's what the hotel management considers that hotel service quality consists of , he/she has a problem of understanding hospitality business... When I got in the room, I realised the room hadn't been cleaned and had to ask for that.The fridge was running, but it was empty for the entire duration(not even a bottle of water). I asked As a single woman, I felt the hotel was unsafe at night as they had whole teams of athletes and their fans running at night and shouting (inebriated) with no intervention from the hotel management. I had to lock myself in every night. The reception tried to charge the entire 4 night stay upon my arrival in the hotel. I did not agree.The hotel did not issue a bill at the end (there is no bill)and the money was drawn out of the account automaticemally the day before checking out without being told(out of courtesy at least) that they have done it. I arranged for an airport transfer return, at a hefty 60, paid for it the day before departure in Euros, and was not issued a bill. Upon checking out, I was asked once again to pay for airport transfer! I reminded them I had paid already. As mentioned, I have no bill for it. Please insist that both hotel and airport transfer bills are issued. I am writing from the airport.I am a senior International EBRD/EU staff registered with UN for security and self defence. I had seriously considered to call our security officer due to the mafia style hotel practices and lack of protection at night.The hotel deserves 2 star and it certainly did not deserve 100 euros per night.More like 35-40. This hotel was much nicer than I had expected. It was absolutely in the city center, the decor was luxurious, the room was huge, and there was even a bathtub! I used the gym and sauna as well, which were nice amenities to have.
They seem to be understaffed to keep up with tasks. There was often a wait at the reception desk, even if it was just that two or three receptionists were talking about something and no other customers waiting. There were often issues at breakfast (such as the coffee machine not working, or the phone ringing and ringing), but there was nobody working or helping. Also, it seems that they don't refill anything at breakfast (so when the eggs are gone in the first half hour, there won't be more later), so I recommend going immediately when breakfast opens in the morning and not waiting until later.
