Location was ideal for me, near both the city center and market (targ, shuk, bazar) but it might not be for everyone because this part of the city has definitely seen better days. The small gang of middle aged men in track suits smoking, drinking, and pressing me for information on Toronto as I strolled by was especially useless. At least they weren't squatting, blyat. Also, the room, though in need of some cosmetic touch ups, maybe even upgrades, was immaculate.
So, aside from no breakfast, which I've seen advertised with this place, there IS supposed to be a sauna but the woman who checked me in never showed me where, there are no signs, no staff was available when I wanted to use it, and the other woman who was on duty in the morning was surly, spoke no English at all and my Russian wasn't good enough for her, so I missed out.

The room was very spacious and clean. Location is quite good and you can reach the city center by 15 walk. Parking is a little bit tight but good option. Air conditioning and wifi worked fine. Toilet paper and shampoo/shower gel was provided.
The mattress was not very comfortable and the bed was a little noisy, but all in all a decent stay.
