The property location was wonderful, located right on the Bayfront, with a view of the city and the marina. Only a few minutes walk to the Medina. The room is fairly large, and The bed was very comfortable.
The cars in Lisbon apparently never stop, they go all night long. The windows to this hotel are not double panes and you could hear everything all night long. very difficult to sleep. Cars and motorcycles, racing, people, yelling, loud conversations, all below our window until about four A.M. when there is a brief reprieve until approximately eight A.M.

It was fairly convenient to walk to the medina and port. Staff was helpful and accommodating when I needed to change rooms, despite it being a busy holiday week. The second room I had was clean and had a good view of the water.
They only check in between noon and 6 pm. This is unusual, so I didn’t think to tell them I’d be arriving at 8:30 and they gave my room away. (They did find me a room, thankfully — much to their credit!) They had emailed me to ask about my check-in time, but since I only check my email once a day, I did not see it. I’ve never had a hotel end check-in that early.
Also, It was in the hotel district, where taxis overcharge you and refuse to use the meter. It was more expensive than hotels in the medina and unlike my previous hotel in Tangier, they only accept cash, so I had to track down an ATM that didn’t charge exorbitant fees in order to get the cash.

The location was good - but that was all that was good about the hotel.
If you looking for a bed and nothing more then that, this is a place to consider.
The rooms are small, with just barely 30 cm to walk around it. I even had to ask for a new room because my suitcase wouldn't fit in it.
Shower and toilet had issues - and when reported they did not resolve it.
We asked for airport service, as they advertised that they have it included but it was truly not arranged well. We waited for 45 minutes before a taxi showed up. We needed to arrange a sim-card, and call the hotel even to arrange that, which was not easy for non experienced travelers.
We were not sure how they received such a high rating.
