Disappointing
On a positive note, I would like to sincerely thank Amjad, Mona, and Abdulrahim for their professionalism and cooperation. Their attitude and support were genuinely appreciated despite the overall shortcomings.
Unfortunately, my stay did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel. The carpet was in poor condition and had an unpleasant odor, which negatively affected the overall comfort of the room.
The windows were not properly insulated, causing continuous noise that made it difficult to sleep. Additionally, the television was very outdated, and the selection of channels was extremely limited — far below what would be expected from a five-star property.
Basic amenities such as slippers and other essential in-room items were also not provided. Overall, the room quality, maintenance standards, and level of amenities did not justify the price paid or align with the hotel’s advertised rating.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and conducts a thorough review of their room standards and quality control processes to ensure future guests receive an experience consistent with five-star expectations.

Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable
The room had a coffee machine, but there was never any coffee pods. There was just a couple of teabags that was it. The kettle in the room looked like it was so old and not cleaned. I did not touch it.

Good customer service from all the team, no expectations
You can't enjoy the sea view because of the vendors outside the hotel from 2 pm until 5Am, they keep screaming and whistling you pay extra for the view but you can't keep the balcony door open to enjoy it.

Everything. They gave a free upgrade to a junior suite and it was a good suite with two views, one on the mountain and the other on the beach. It was quiet we didn't hear anythung from the rooms beside us. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from. Staff was very kind.

The staff was so amazing, so friendly and accommodating. My mom has allergies and can't eat much but they prepared breakfast just to accommodate her diet which I'm very thankful for. The breakfast buffet was nice. The pool is clean and i saw that every night the pool guy would go and clean it up and put some products which is good and doesn't happen in other hotels.
The tv was old, i couldn't watch anything i just wanted to enjoy a movie before bed, if they can get a fire stick or just upgrade to smart tvs it would make a great difference. The coffee tray in the room did not even have sugar. The bathroom had empty product bottles thank god i brought my own shampoo and body wash. Even the hand soap bottle was empty. The rugs seem to be old and worn out.

I like to the room was so clean and the service was good.and the location was good and in front beach and the hotel quite.
The mattress wasn’t good and the door of my room didn’t lock and at last 30 minutes of the breakfast time there is no plates and no utensils .

NOTHING. Avoid!!!
This is not a 5 Star hotel at all! 3 star is the most I will give them. The carpets are old, smelly and ripped. Looks like an abandoned building.The service was very slow when asking them to deliver towels. The soap ran out on day one and was not refilled and we had to ask them several times to deliver. The phone did not work, so we would have to go downstairs to ask for the phone to be fixed and any other issues we had like more coffee to the room in which they charge 3 euros per capsules with is unheard of in a supposedly 5 star hotel. the shower drain was blocked and so was the sink. Took more than 24 hours for the phone to be fixed. TV has 3 channels that don't work well. Breakfast is the same everyday and I have come back home very sick with a stomach bug from the food that I ate when I left on Tuesday 15th July.

Only the staff was nice
I had a very disappointing experience at the Grand Mogador in Tangier. Upon arrival, I was surprised and frustrated to be asked for a marriage certificate just to allow my wife to stay with me. This was unexpected, intrusive, and completely unnecessary, especially for a supposed 5-star hotel.
The hotel itself is far from what you’d expect at that rating. The building is old, and much of the furniture is in poor or even broken condition. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, which made our stay very uncomfortable.
I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is rated as a 5-star property. The facilities and overall condition of the hotel fall way below that standard. The only positive aspect of our stay was the staff – they were kind and did their best despite the poor infrastructure.
I would not recommend this hotel unless major renovations and policy reviews are made.
