Wonderful
Our room was exceptional with a wonderful view, comfortable bed, and other nice amenities. The roof top terrace was also beautiful, with a lot of different places to sit and views. The Dar also has fun, beautiful, and unique art and decor pieces throughout.
I think the Dar should communicate prior to arrival the gate/space where you should have your taxi or transportation leave you. Our taxi driver left us 15 minutes away, with an uphill hike and bags, when there was a spot 3 minutes away with a downhill walk. This has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel or our stay, but just something helpful that other places communicated to us later in our trip.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff was helpful The common areas were decorated nicely but some of the rooms needed help
We did not get the room we asked for or anything like it. We are in our late 70's and the hotel manager took us to a room 4 flights up on steep steps without railings. The room didn't have the decor we expected from the photos. It had a balcony with a spiral staircase to the roof. This was not thewater view I was promised.The staff showed us 3 or 4 rooms and said some where higher priced and we would have to pay the up charge.We finally took a room that was smaller than we booked and only one flight up with the same price. The bed was comfortable but the views terrible and the bathroom was very tiny with lots of problems. The toilet wasn't seated correctly so it banged every time you say on it . There were no hooks to hang towels or robes and no toilet paper roller so the toilet paper kept falling on the floor. The shower was only a hand held and there was no hooking mechanism to put the hand held up for a shower. The staff went all out to help us but we never saw an owner or head manager that could correct things.

Location and desire by all the staff to deliver excellent service.
The layout of the property had it divided into multiple buildings next door to each other. Our room was basically an attic in the annex. Steps up the 3 flights were extremely narrow and dangerous. No handrail for more than half of the flights. There was a beautiful roof deck where you could get a drink, BUT with no food option, it was very windy and cold but there weren’t any heaters, and it was extremely noisy and disruptive when we tried to go to sleep. The bathroom was like an add on and there was a step up once inside. Because the tile color was the same, it was very easy to forget there was a step at all as I can document since falling when I missed the step and suffering for two days while it bruised. I was very lucky I didn’t break it. For two days, we feared I did ! And finally, breakfast started at 8.30, too late for tourists who needed to get out to meet their guides. It was clean, it was funky, the employees were terrific and helpful, but this is not a place for older people. It really is too dangerous.

Dar Nour is a gorgeous property, ideally located in the Medina, staffed by kind people. The views from the rooftop bar are excellent. The beds are comfortable, the wifi was great, the shower was great!

Fabulous!! This quaint space had such a cozy feel. There are a number of intimate spaces on rooftop decks for tea, food, and conversation. There is a full bar on the rooftop from 3:30 - 11pm daily. The buffet breakfast on the rooftop is wonderful. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are unique and comfortable. I loved this place!!!

Very unique hotel, nestled in the winding streets of the Kasbah. Decorated in traditional style. Staff was very kind. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent rooftop views.
