Very Poor
I had high hopes for this hotel, but unfortunately it fell far short of any acceptable standard. The cleanliness throughout the property was simply unacceptable — rooms and common areas were visibly dirty and clearly not maintained with any regularity.
The staff were indifferent and showed little to no interest in guests’ comfort or concerns. What made matters worse was the complete lack of management oversight: smoking was openly permitted inside the hotel, with management doing absolutely nothing to enforce what should be a basic health and comfort standard for all guests.
To top it off, breakfast was poor and insufficient — limited in variety and quantity, and nowhere near what one would reasonably expect.
I would not return to this hotel and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and professionally managed stay.

On my first visit to Morocco, I stayed at the Barceló Tangier, and I would highly recommend this hotel. As a solo traveler, I found the entire staff to be incredibly kind and helpful. My room offered a beautiful view of the sea, which made the stay even more special.
Fatima and Hasna assisted me with booking tours, and I especially want to thank Hasna for her kindness and thoughtful recommendations. She reminded me of a very dear friend and truly made me feel at home in Tangier.

Wonderful
Good location, comfortable room, nice balcony either the view on the sea. You have several options of restaurants, also gym, pool.
In the main entrance you have just stairs, so you need to hold your luggage going through stairs. And the guy concierge saw me woman going with luggage and didn’t help, didn’t open the door, it was so strange for such type of hotels. For everything another - was very good!

I liked the hotel pool and top level areas with a view of the beach and rooftops.
We got the wrong room. Asking to get the right room I was told it was not available. When asking for a compensation suddenly, the room next to the one we got was of the type we had booked. BUT, the door was broken so impossible to sleep. If one get the room with sea view below floor 5, the extreme noise will keep anyone from being able to sleep. Especially when the door can't fully close. Next day I asked to get the door fixed. Yes, we will fix it I was told but coming back to the hotel no one had fixed the door so another night without sleep.
The following day I told them about the door again and thhey came and started working on it. 2 people were there for 2at least an hour before we left for town. When we got back we noticed they did not do anything. I told the reception and then we got a room at 6th floor and that was the right room and it was alright compared to waht we paid. Checking out I asked for compensation but it was nothing they could do I was told. Overall, the way the different people in the staff handeld this tells me all of them just tried to get out of the problem, and no one was actually helping us. So, they were nice but it was obvious we were played and being lied to in every interaction until they had the room we had booked the last night.

Location and staff were great
The room ceiling was leaking over my things and damaged my skin care and makeup bag. There was an electrical issue which caused power loss while I was in the shower and it went pitch dark so my morning was interrupted and delayed as they were in my room for 30 min trying to fix it.

They weren’t very good about restocking amenities. We asked for a lightbulb in our room as our lamp wasn’t working and it wasn’t delivered. We asked for an extra blanket and it wasn’t delivered.

The location is really great, right on the beach and just a 10-minute walk from the Medina. A big thank you to the reception team, especially Imane, Khaoula and Fatine they were so helpful and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable
