Villa Amira is an old estate reimagined as a B & B. It is beautifully restored with intricate mosaics and chiseled trims. Breakfast is a treat. The staff are lovely. We got big hugs when we left.
The spa is superb. We got a hamman treatment which included a soap mask, scrub, steam and a massage. We also got facials.
We had a problem getting money from an ATM. The owner, Alex, took us to a bank as a favor. So nice.

Lovely place outside the Medina. The staff was very nice, helpful and friendly. Loved the building, it was stunning!!!, I had breakfast and dinner and they were excellent. I would go back and stay longer for sure...

Very clean, it feels like a home. We liked that was around shops and restaurants, also not far from the bus stop that brings you into the Old town .

The villa was in the perfect location in Marrakech which was very peaceful but close enough to the centre to see all the sites of the city. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the staff were very attentive whenever we needed anything. Our room was also perfect which was as authentic as a Riad could be. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakesh.
Nothing - the property was perfect!

Wonderful
A beautiful property offering home from home comfort. My room was spacious, quiet & overlooking the swimming pool. All the staff were so friendly & helpful. The Villa is kept immaculately clean.
The property is quite a distance from all the main tourist attractions (apart from the Marjorelle gardens)and consequently one needs to take a taxi each day.

Alix and her team were great in our two nights at Villa Amira. The massage was fantastic and good value at 200DM for 30 minutes, breakfast was also great and Alix helped me organise a taxi to other locations that I was travelling to on our trip in Morocco. I recommend.

Alix really nice and extremely helpful and quickly sorted out anything we needed to know eg getting taxis
All staff very nice.
Hammam brilliant
The location was a little bit out of the centre, but taxis are so easy to get and cheap, there was no problem getting anywhere we wanted to go. I would still recommend this property.

Poor
It's a beautiful looking place.
Very chaotic staff, some who were quite rude. The bed was hard. The sound insulation was very poor, but that's typical for most Riads. Breakfast was quite basic.

Disappointing
Friendly staff, clean rooms
Spoke some English that helped traditional atmosphere
The location was a bit too far from the centre, was cold at nights and didn't find blanket till after a few days. Problem's getting in as the front gate, was closed locked most of the time. There was WiFi but it was broken for 3 days then it was hit and miss if you could use it or stay on!!! Would not take much to sort out other cafes had better WiFi. Tax was added on leaving!!! The cost was very hight we talked to the owner on the phone and it was reduced by 2/3!! The other lady had got it wrong!! Made a sad end to the trip

Wonderful
Beautiful building, spacious rooms and the staff were amazing and would do anything to help.
We loved everything but would maybe have liked to have been within walking distance of the main square…we caught InDrives when we could but it was harder to find an InDrive for a family of 5. We caught taxis sometimes too which wasn’t a problem but added up over the week.

It was a lovely place, ready to fully accommodate your needs, staff very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast very tasty. This place has a nice character. Very clean and comfortable to rest.
Owner was very helpful with advice to go about.
Only 2 down things shower, water wasn’t staying the same temperature, took many adjustments to have a shower. And bed side lamps weren’t working well, first was one then none…

Breakfast was lovely. Location was good. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
We had the family room which was super - although beds a little too hard and would have been nice if there were dressing gowns as gets a little cold in the night in winter. There was heating in the room so very small gripe.

The staff are amazing, great location - close enough to the must sees, while far enough away to get a full reprieve, and great amenities (the spa, hot water, pool, airport shuttle, and consistently wonderful breakfast).
Coming from Canada, the water pressure was an adjustment. This is an us issue, and did not impact our stay.
