Beautiful peaceful courtyard. Well located. Good breakfast. Lovely rooftop shower with view over Marrakech.
Pretty sure there had been a cat in my room, thats sprayed. Strong smell of cat around the bed. This was quite off putting and made me question the cleaning. All the drains are blocked, this is probably due to it being an old building- however its not pleasant to stand in dirty water in the shower, or have a half filled sink cause you washed your hands. The shower is not great. Old shower head. Maybe considered authentic but i stayed in other places in the Medina and the showers were fine.

Had a lovely stay at this riad! All the staff were so friendly and the lady who runs it was very accommodating! The garden where you eat breakfast is beautiful and our room was amazingly furnished. We also did the hammam spa which was a unique cultural experience.
It was my partners birthday whilst we were there and they arranged a cake for him-this was a great surprise.
A close walk from the mainly tourist centre but feels calm and peaceful.

Management and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I felt very pampered and welcome throughout my stay. Breakfast was superb, as was the 'on request' tea service. And the courtyard dining area was very soothing and inviting.
I'm not sure the safe in my room worked, but it didn't seem like a problem since the Riad was locked at all times and I saw no reason to be worried about security. Also, the shower stall and bathroom fixtures were a little dated, but everything worked fine. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, wonderfully decorated and very comfortable.

It was our first time in Marrekech and we really weren't sure what to expect. Khadija made us feel very welcome and the Riad was beautiful. Everything was spotless and all of the Tchaikana team were incredibly friendly and helpful.
If I was being fussy then some of the doors and windows didn't close properly but that wasn't really an issue. It didn't cause any problems for us.

- The Riad was beautiful and tastefully decorated. It felt so homey.
- Khadija was so welcoming, kind, and helpful.
- The breakfast spread was delicious.
- The location was close to the medina.
- The room was very clean, and the toilettries smelt wonderful.
- We'd recommend booking a transfer through the riad as we don't think we ever would have found the riad by ourselves.
- We'd highly recommend staying at Riad Tchaikana!
- You have to go down two dark alleyways to get to the Riad, which made us feel very on edge as two females travelling by ourselves.
- It would have been great if we could have had the water in our room topped up daily.

My stay at Riad Tchaikana was exceptional. As a solo woman traveler, I arrived in Marrakech excited and nervous. The women at Riad Tchaikana were so warm and welcoming, I felt extremely taken care of. It was akin to going to visit your aunties and being cared for: extremely delicious meals, an incredibly beautiful, spacious, clean room, and support with getting around Marrakech in whatever way I needed. Each time they arranged an outing for me, whether it was an airport pick-up, or a day at the Hammam, they ensured that I was met at the door of the Riad and escorted to my destination. I truly enjoyed my stay here and look forward to returning.
