The place was wonderful! Aziz was extremely thoughtful and made sure everything in our stay was perfect. The room is excellent, cozy and super clean and the hotel has a very pleasant terrace. Amazing breakfast and dinner (way over my expectations) - definitely the best food we had in the trip.

my only comment would be that I found the scented oils that were burned in the Riad way to strong and over powering.

This Riad is a hidden gem. Only 5 luxury rooms and so central to everything. Aziz certainly makes this place extra special by welcoming you and booking any excursions, and organising taxi's. I stayed with my 12yr old son and we were both made to feel very welcome. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
If you like to read in bed, I would recommend you bring a head torch, as the lighting is very soft, which adds to its charm but not great for reading.

Beautiful riad, close to everything and everywhere. Rooms were beautiful, comfortable & clean. Everywhere was spotless. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Rooftop had amazing 360 views where you could see the atlas mountains & relax in the sun. I highly recommend this riad & would happily return!
Nothing to fault about the accomodation, however when leaving I opted to book a "private taxi" through the riad for 160dhr. It was just a regular taxi. When I arrived in Marrakech, a private air-conditioned people carrier was arranged for me for 150dhr by another riad, so I was expecting similar for the price.

What a great find! Really beautiful riad, optimal Medina location, warm and generous hospitality from Aziz and Soumia. A bright, peaceful oasis while exploring Marrakech, beautifully restored with great style and ambience. Sparkling clean with every comfort and amenity you need, amazing bed, beautiful spacious bathroom, lovely breakfast each morning (dinners available on request.) Nice common spaces for relaxing and a rooftop terrace with great views over Marrakech and the surrounding Atlas Mountains. The location is perfect: really close to the gate in and out of the Medina (by Bahia Palace) which is key for easy taxi access, in an area with great shops and restaurants, safe and quiet, and just a short walk to Jamaa El Fna square. A great stay and highly recommended.

The Riad itself is wonderfully designed, really clean, and has a great terrace...everything perfect, no complaints at all!
But even more important: Aziz and his staff are just lovely! We stayed there this week (Morocco closed its borders due to Covid-19) so we had to stay longer than expected. Although the situation is miserable for everyone, they only charged regular prices for room & dinner and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible!

Very cosy. Walking distance to all major attractions. Very nice and friendly people (owner, personnel). We had a great new years eve dinner there. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the Souqs and Djemaa el Fna.

As a very first accommodation after flying in to Morocco, we were mesmerized by this wonderful, clean, comfy and secluded Riad. At first its little difficult to find it, but once you get around a bit, you find out, that the location is perfect for for wandering around Marrakech medina and surroundings.
We highly recommend Riad Soumia.

Aziz and Soumia are wonderful hosts, very attentive to detail and any needs we might have had throughout our one week stay. Riad is beautiful and extremely clean, few minute walk to taxi point and to the souk. I travel to Marrakesh often and the hospitality is exceptional. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

Location, great proximity to the center of the market.
This facility functions more like a Hostel than a Riad. There is minimal staffing. You are given a key to the Riad, and only see the minimal staff at breakfast and sometimes at dinner. The first floor rooms run out of hot water very quickly.
