An authentic Riad and an unmissable part of the Marrakech experience. Madame was super helpful and friendly, met us at the taxi to lead us the short distance from the road. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is perfect, a short walk from the main square but far enough away from the madness! For fee free ATM (with Revolut card) Umnia ATM at
///aquatic.races.goggle (what3words) worked for me.
Nothing. This is real Marrakech so dont expect super swish modern blandness. This is genuine Marrakech quirkiness in a good way. Not to be missed.

Wonderful
It was my first time in Marrakesh. I was feeling a little apprehensive. The communication with Riad Sesame before my flight was really good and they answered my questions, putting my mind at ease. They sent a taxi to pick me up and I was met from the taxi and given a warm welcome. The riad is about 10-15 min walk from the main square, but in a quiet location with a really nice Morrocan bath place and eateries very nearby. The breakfast was good and available till 11 am. I was comfortable in my room and slept really well. Latifa went out of her way to help me plan sightseeing. I can highly recommend Riad Sesame and will be back.

This riad was a lovely little find, and we loved it so much! Before arriving we asked the owner to book us a taxi from the airport and without hesitation this was accommodated. On arrival, we were offered mint tea with some very nice biscuits, which we thought was a super nice touch from Madame Latifa. The room is excellent size, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is a good size. Breakfast is served in the morning to your own pre arranged table and it is so nice and has loads of typical breakfast items from Morocco!
On the first night, we arrived late and were very hungry and asked Mme Latifa where we could eat, she recommended a place nearby that has good prices and really good food, and we enjoyed it very much.
Finally, we also asked for a taxi to the airport to be booked on our last day and Mme Latifa took us all the way to the taxi, which was a very nice gesture.
Overall, this was an amazing stay!
Side note, learn French before going to Morocco, English is not spoken in many places!

Lady who runs this Riad was very nice and helpful.
Good breakfast. Beds are comfy. Quiet at night which you will need after day in Marrakech because it can be overwhelming. You can walk to most attractions in 15 mins.

Very nice and clean Riad! The breakfast was amazing to start the day. Our host didnt speak English (just Arabic or French) but she went above and beyond to make us feel confortable and explain everything we needed to know about Marrakesh. The location is very nice, just a few meters from the Medina but in a quiet location.
Neighbours can be noisy!

The owner was very nice and welcoming. She took care of me, offered a Morrocan tea and always shared a good word. I felt very comfortable.
Localisation is good as well. Walkable distance to main places in Medina.
What's wort mentioning is cleaness of the rooms. They were spotless, very well maintained
and beautifully decorated with oriental touch.
Summing up it was great value for money and
I would definitely recommend this place.

I was greeted by the caretaker Latifa. She was very welcoming and insisted that we sit and have tea upon arrival. The facility is wonderful with very comfortable air conditioned clean rooms. Latifa was very helpful with making plans for excursions around the city. Breakfast was wonderfuldifferent types of breads, jam, honey, butter, juice, yogurt and coffee. The facility is in the midst of the city with restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk.

The location was excellent. Very near the square and also lots of nice restaurants. Room clean and bed very comfortable. The lady in charge was extremely helpful, printing out our boarding passes for us ( needed for Morocco ), arranging early breakfasts when we needed them, taxis etc. The breakfast was nice and theres a nice rooftop lounge with a fridge for guests use. The lady looks after her cats well which is important to us as we love animals.

we did book 2 rooms and it did feel like we got the building. Nice top floor and the entry room that you can see on first photo. The lady who owns/work on the hotel is like a really nice grandmom who helps you and gives tee and so on. I rarely give 10/10 but here I do. So get overall experience.
can be hard to find it first time. Bit its really a minor problem.

Latifa is a great host. Allthough we do bot speak french, she explained everything to us in a way we could easily understand, giving us important advice on what to visit in Marocco.
I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the delicious breakfast with home made Amlou and the Maroccan crepes with honey.
The Riad Sesame is located on a small quiet alley next to the bulevard. Its about 10 mins walking from the shopping streets in Medina and 15 mins walking from the Jamaa el Fnaa market (the central market).
Also, I had here the best sleep during my holidays, as the bed is very very comfortable.
