Location was incredible - despite being very close to the busy and shops area, it was a quiet oasis with an amazing rooftop.

We had the pleasance to stay at this great riad. Its a true oasis of pease in the middle of the chaotic medina. The staff, especially Soufiane and Younes, made us feel very welcome and at home. I think this is the riad-feeling. A cozy and house-like place to stay. The food is great! The included breakfast has its little surprises every day and the traditional dinner they can offer is a wonderful way the get a taste of Moroccan cuisine.

This is a beautiful riad which is very professionally run. The breakfast and dinner we had at the riad were excellent.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. We had some delicious meals and a lovely hammam at the riad. We also had a great trip to the Atlas mountains organised by the riad. There was no problem following the earthquake and Marrakech had got back to normal very quickly.

This is a beautiful quiet and unique little Riad in the centre of Marrakech. The traditional design is very lovely. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, such wonderful hosts. Marrakech is full of life and welcoming people, and they are happy for visitors to come since the earthquake. Breakfast is perfect and a lovely Moroccan dinner is available at the Riad, with yummy spices and unique flavours. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and public areas with a plunge pool, plants as well as roof top terrace make this accommodation even more special. Come and enjoy this quiet little oasis. It is a perfect way to experience the wonderful hospitality of Marrakech.

The location was very convenient as it was 20 minutes drive from the airport and 5 minutes walk from the Medina. The breakfast was nice, however it was a bit light and could have been more filling. The rooms were beautiful and very welcoming with comfortable beds and great facilities. The staff were also amazing particularly - Suffian and Hussein - THANK YOU SO MUCH! I also want to state that Marrakech was very safe and we had nothing to worry about. The earthquake was very far from Marrakech itself and the citizens were thriving. Please visit and support the region, they need the tourism for their business.

My friend and I stayed at the riad 5 nights. A beautiful, traditional old style riad in the heart of the city, walking distance to key sites. All staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming particularly Mohammed and Sufiyan. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard. We enjoyed a delicious traditional meal on the first night. Mohammed went above and beyond for us, always asking how our day was and smiley i loved the old style decor and the cooling pool came in handy for a dip after a long hot day. Would high recommend this riad as it felt essentially a home from home!

This riad is so beautiful and in the perfect location for getting around Marrakech. Mohammed and the team made us feel right at home and looked after us during our stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing location, comfort and people

Look no further, this Riad is worth every single penny. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff - Soufiane and Mohamed had made our Marrakesh trip. Attention to detail, attentiveness, flexibility and how accommodating they had been was just phenomenal. The building itself is wonderful, 160 years (?) And most of the original fittings are still as it - the doors, the window metal work, tiling. Breakfast was amazing, different menu on every single day (although we could have had the same Morroccan omelette everyday because it was just that good). The mint tea the team prepares is the best in flavour - we had eaten out most of the week and none of the restaurant teas compare. There is a small pool, not big enough for adults to swim in so is for cooling down mainly but such an essential with the hot weather. We spent every day in and around the pool which is open to use at anytime. The room we had was great - couple of girls on a girlie trip and the beds were easily split into twins on request. Very spacious, lots of clothes storage and shelves for your stuff. The air con made sure we could sleep through the night in the heat. Nearly forgot (and not sure how) that they have a terrace to watch the sunset and just chill. It was a good size. I cannot stress how helpful and welcoming Soufiane and Mohamed had been. This trip would not have been so enjoyable if it weren't for these two and the team. I want to take them both home to look after us.

The Riad Mehdia was an amazing place to stay. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The massage and pool were highlights. The riad itself was very comfortable- rooms beautifully decorated and comfortable. - rooftop terrace was another lovely space. Very close to the main square action- but a peaceful oasis to rest up and relax. 10 out of 10!
