Wonderful
Super friendly hosts, they offered as tee and gave us recommendations about what to do. Nice breakfast too.

Well decorated, but it looks different now than in the photos
The staff was rude, they even charge for printing the boarding pass, poor breakfast, not so much comparing to other locations
There was a very unpleasant smell from the bathroom in the room at the first floor, the smell was that strong, that my parents couldn't sleep because of it

We stayed at three different riads in Marrakesh and this was our favourite. It's not fancy but it is a genuine riad with a lovely courtyard, that was used for breakfast, and a large roofterrace with loungers. Khaled was so helpful and friendly. It is a little frayed around the edges but we think that adds to the charm of the place. We will certainly be back.
We found our room on the ground floor a little bit dark but it was lovely and quiet so a fair trade off.

The riad is beautifully designed in a typical Moroccan style, with a high attention to detail to ensure guests' comfort. We were welcomed with traditional mint tea, which was very refreshing after our long journey. The room was also supplied with a bottle of water. The breakfast was excellent, and the black coffee was truly remarkable—delicate with a pleasant hint of spices. It is the best I have ever tasted!
The riad is located within walking distance of Jemaa el-Fna Square.

This was the first hotel in Marocco where we felt that we got what was advertised to us. Also the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend the hotel just because of this.
The breakfast could have a little bit more variation.

One of the guests has celiac and they provided alternatives but the breakfast was not sufficient .

I had a wonderful stay at this riad. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable—especially after I was injured. Their attentiveness and care truly made a difference. The rooms were spacious, with high ceilings and a large bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the interior design was absolutely stunning. The atmosphere of the riad was both charming and relaxing.
The breakfast was varied and delicious, offering a great selection of fresh and flavorful options. The rooftop terrace was also a highlight—an amazing place to relax and enjoy the view.
I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming stay in Morocco!

The staff Adnan and Khaled were very welcoming and accommodating. They booked us tours and pickups from the Riad whenever we needed to. They also arranged taxi for us from and to the airport. They were very friendly and treated us very well. I would highly recommend this place.
The bathroom lock was not working properly for me. But to be honest, I never raised this with them. I am sure they would have fixed it if I would have asked them.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad and highly recommend it! The price-value ratio is excellent. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal—it’s within walking distance of the core medina yet far enough out to make taking taxis to other parts of Marrakech easy, which can be tricky if you're staying deep inside the medina. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere of the riad. The overall vibe of the place was fantastic—calm, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. Breakfast was simple but sufficient to start the day. This was the second riad we stayed in while in Marrakech, and we would definitely stay here again!
The toilet could benefit from improved ventilation, but it didn’t affect our overall enjoyment of the stay.

Disappointing Experience
I had a disappointing stay at Riad le Marocain. The cleanliness was far below expectations, which made the experience uncomfortable. The staff was not helpful or welcoming, which added to the frustration. Additionally, the breakfast was very basic and not what we were expecting, especially given the price. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this riad based on my experience.
