The stay was probably the best I ever had with booking. Perfect location in middle of all the hustle but at the same time the most calm environment in the whole Marrakesh. Road provides a safe heaven, full of trees, birds, sun at the roof top and welcoming staff always with smile on their face and great service. We were welcomed by Peter, who was offering many tips. The price is great and fair for what you get and no one is trying to trick you with extra costs, we were always told if something was extra charge in advance.

Everything was beyond our expectations. Peter, the host/owner personally welcomes all his guests and regularly touches base with them. His staff is phenomenal and caters well to all their guests. Since the cars cannot come to the door front of the Riad, staff will come to the area the taxi can park to receive and assist with the luggage. They will do the same at departure. Since we were leaving early in the morning, they made special arrangements to have the breakfast ready to match our departure time. The room was very well furnished and decorated with antique furniture of very high quality. Overall, an outstanding experience. Just be prepared , the outside or access to the property is very ordinary as it is inside the Old Medina, but once inside, you will love it!
Everything was outstanding and exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful
An oasis of calm within the Medina. Despite the proximity to the souk, the Riad was very quiet with lots of bird calls in the established, shady gardens. The restored, historic Morrocan interiors are delightful and each room has privacy within the garden settings. The complimentary breakfasts were well provided with freshly squeezed juice, choices of breads, eggs, toppings, unlimited coffee. These were all provided in a peaceful environment in the garden setting. The dinners are delicious as well. The staff are all very helpful and polite.

Breakfast was simple and good. With friendly staff serving. Eggs, orange juice, coffee, bread, marmelade.
The punctuality of picking up from the airport and the return. Should be improved.

Disappointing
The staff is wonderful! Always willing to help & with a smile. The Riad itself is beautiful with very interesting areas & rooms. Our first 5 nights were wonderful until....
...the owner Peter came to me my last night & said my friends didn't pay the night before for a perfume they got before from the 'perfume guy'. He told me I had to pay it?!? My friend DID in fact pay & after much conversation with Peter, the perfume guy & Abdul, I got really pissed off. They were all trying to scam us!!! Then Abdul tells me it was a mistake & got it mixed up with another guest. I asked her about it later & she had paid too?!....so I know they were trying to play me. I couldn't believe the people (mostly Peter & Abdul) who I trusted & believed in all week would do this!! What a disappointment. It nearly ruined my vacation. But, I won't let it/them because it was a great vacation otherwise & in the end Karma will decide also, the breakfast is just ok. Nothing special....mostly breads which you can get at any hostel. So don't expect 5 stars! Dinners, wine & water had to be paid in cash.

Pleasant
The room was nice, warm, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was great all week until the end.
The staff accused me of not paying for parfum that I paid for on the spot and they harassed my friend to pay from her pocket the price of the parfum, making it her problem instead of contacting me. I had left the Riad one day before my friend, but they had my contact information. They tried get more money out of her. Even when Peter the owner confirmed to me Saturday morning that I had paid, multiple staff members continued to harass my friend for the parfum money that was already paid. It seems they were all in on it. Very sketchy. And they refused to let me pay by credit card for my meals, room water, and wine so I would have a receipt. Cash only. Just like the parfum, cash only, no receipt, and then they claimed I didnt pay for the parfum by shaking down my friend for more money. The staff also blew off breakfast the morning we left so we bought it at the airport.

Fair
Not value for money. Staff were nice but one had to ask for everything otherwise bread would be dry and there would be little else all other meals were expensive for what was provided. The only nice thing was the garden
The worst thing was lack of technology in the room. No television or WiFi. In the evening there was a great silence and by midnight all the lights were turned off in the communal garden and there was darkness.I would never go there again.z
