The staff were extremely helpful with anything we needed from a taxi to a horse drawn carriage and even willing to try to fix my husband's suitcase which had broken. Lovely people, from Nadel who welcomed us with mint tea, dates and nuts and gave us a tour of the Riad to the young waiters Abdul and Otman and the owner who helped us plan our excursions to the Gardens and to Mamounia for dinner. The building and rooms are beautiful and very ornate. I was given a lovely necklace when we left.

I loved the spa, the hammam was awesome; the roof terrace for laying out was peaceful; the pool was nice; breakfast was amazing; hospitality and service was INCREDIBLE and my room was mind blowingly curated and beautiful.

From start to finish the hospitality at Riad Hikaya was exceptional. We were welcomed with mint tea, a tour of the riad, and an intro into what staying at the riad would be like. Neda, our host, was just lovely and I cried when I left! Excellent breakfast, wonderful spa, gorgeous facility.
Additionally, as a queer and interracial couple, we were welcomed with open arms. Our existence was no threat to them!

The location is amazing and the staff excellent. The manager waited us with a Moroccan tea and sweets and briefed us just before the check-in regarding the city, what we can see, what to do, what to avoid, how to travel with taxi, etc.
The lady in charge was extraordinary, friendly and helped us every time smiling. But not only her, also the other staff members. This was a really traditional experience.

Every detail about this place was amazing. I will start with the hosts and the staffs they have , too cooperative, patient and nice. Hosts help in booking tours, arranging transportation,food etc. they have nothing but pleasant. The place is Beautiful and facilities are worth every penny. Dont miss the views from the terrace! With confy beds in the star gazing night. They have one of the best breakfast and lunch provided in the Riad.

Very pretty and nicely cared for. The rooms are ornate and the property is sumptuously decorated in traditional Moroccan decor. Lots of super cute rooms and nooks available for use including the rooftop that has sun loungers, a covered sofa seating area and dining tables on the patio. The staff from top to bottom were fantastic and the customer service was outstanding. Location was great; close enough to the central kasbah and historic sights, easy to get to the medina but far enough away from its intensity.
Rooms are smaller than larger hotel chains which only matters because of the insane amount of shopping done in Morocco and therefore the maneuverability inside. If you’re not a shopaholic it shouldn’t be problematic.

We´ve truly felt at home here. Everything was perfect - from the beautiful space to the kind and attentive service. We're leave with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for all they have done. We hope to return someday! Breakfast was freshly prepared and very plentiful. Dinner is also highly recommended. We arrived very early and were able to get into the room straight away and as we flew late at night we were able to use everything until we left, which we really appreciated.

Truly authentic, with no pretence. The location in the Kasbah was very central and convenient. The staff were very charming, attentive and very helpful. Food was unfussy and very homely. The hammam was a lovely experience as well. I would certainly recommend Riad Hikaya without any hesitation.

We have traveled all over the world, including twice in Morocco, and Hikaya was the most amazing surprise. The pictures do not capture the beauty of the Riad, of the sitting rooms, the terrace, the actual rooms. Or the warmth of the staff. Everyone at Hikaya made us feel like family; everyone smiles, tries their best to fulfill your every request, and is proud and happy to tell you about themselves, their city, their culture and their country. After three nights we had a small group of cleaning personnel and hosts come to the door to see us off, and hugged us goodbye. It felt like we were leaving lifelong friends behind. I was holding tears back when we left, and had never experienced this level of warmth before. A ranking of 5 stars here falls short, but then a ranking of 100 stars would as well. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else if we ever go back to Marrakech. Aside from this, the location was absolutely perfect for us. It felt safe to just walk out the main door and venture into this part of the Medina. We had stayed at other Riads in the city, where this was not the case, so this made the trip there even more enjoyable. Do not miss on the chance to stay at a place that you will not soon forget!

First, Riad Hikaya is breathtaking, the interior is to die for. But even better is the amazing staff doing the utmost for you to feel welcome and at home. If you need directions or information about Marrakech don´t hesitate to ask, they will provide you anything you may need. I particularly enjoyed the homemade breakfast spread each morning. The riad is about 15 minutes walking from Djemaa El-Fna, but i like walking so this was not an issue for me. There are also plenty of cheap taxis if you don´t feel like exercising. I would most definitely book Riad Hikaya again and i must say it´s one of the most beautiful accommodations I’ve ever stayed at. I might also add that this being my fist Riad in Morocco really set the tone for my whole trip. I ended up loving Morocco ?

Wonderful stay to start our Moroccan adventure. A tasty welcome meal for our late arrival. We enjoyed the environment and the location was brilliant with walking distance to most of our destinations for sightseeing. Morning breakfast was an experience, served wherever we settled - on the deck or in the courtyard. Each morning had additional treats and eggs to order - fresh juice, and always a local delicacy. The staff members here couldn't do enough for us and were always pleasant.
Parking was a bit of a challenge, but they helped us through it. The narrow streets can be intimidating and busy. But, also interesting.

Lovely authentic Riad in the medina (Kasbah) the room was comfortable and the bath was superb. The atmosphere within the riad is of tranquility with the sound of birds and running water. It is approximately 10/15 mins walk to the square. The staff are very welcoming and will do anything to make your stay a comfortable one, it really is the personal touch from start to finish of your stay. We was welcomed with mint tea as a refreshment on arrival and the manager greeted us and advised us on the best places to go.
