The staff was extremely hospitable and helpful. From suggestions of restaurants to shopping and haggling, we got honest advice from Jamal who was there to greet us and guide us every step of our Holiday. The breakfast was delicious and the people friendly.
There were some plumbing issues that were resolved efficiently.

We really really enjoyed our stay here! We were warmly welcomed by all the staff and it felt like our home for the few days we were here. The location is ideal in the heart of Marrakech and the room was beautiful and so clean. We really hope to stay here again when we return to Morocco in the future!

Dar Zelda is a small, completely renovated Riad located in the heart of Marrakech. My room was very clean and quiet. The welcome received was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The possibility of enjoying an excellent breakfast on the terrace is an added value of the structure. Strongly recommended.

The Riad was excellent, cool, quite and beautiful amongst the busy city. We had two rooms one on the second floor, comfortable, clean, big comfy bed and the second on the roof terrace. Again clean. comfy bed and querky bathroom which was lovely. Breakfast of fab taken on the roof terrace, staff were amazing and so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Local was great around all tourist attractions, Perfect :) wish was had stopped longer
Maybe a little better lighting and plug sockets in our room, but didnt cause us any issues tiny minor observation

The hotel itself is a very beautiful Riadh. We loved the location - it's very close to the central part of the Medina but a few minutes walk outside the busiest part which means it's very quiet and feels more relaxed than some of the main streets. The decor and furnishings are lovely and there's a very spacious roof terrace with space to sit for breakfast or for a drink in the evenings. We had dinner at the hotel twice and those were some of our favourite meals. Some of the trendy restaurants in the medina are difficult to get a table at and also the food isn't that great in my opinion. The food at the hotel was traditional and delicious - exactly what we wanted! The staff are really great, really friendly and can't do enough to make your stay memorable. We had a problem with damp in our room and the team moved us out into a beautiful suite for a couple of nights whilst they got it fixed.
The internet was pretty intermittent. I had hoped to take some classes online whilst I was there but the signal was so bad at times that it made it quite difficult. If you have to do any work whilst you are there you will not have a reliable connection. The breakfast was delicious and substantial. But it was the same every day. This isn't a problem if you're only staying for a few nights, but since we were there for a week, it would have been nice to have some variety. There are no options given and a huge amount of bread products/ pastry are brought to the table. I felt wasteful not eating what was put down and consequently ate way too much! I'm sure there's a lot of waste as a result. I personally would prefer to be able to choose from a list of things and for there to be some more healthy options like fruit, yogurt, eggs. I am also a huge fan of coffee in bed in the morning. It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room, or the option to pick up coffee/ cups from the kitchen in the morning. Finally, having to settle the bill in cash at the end of the stay was a bit of a nightmare. We went to 5 different ATMs on a very busy evening before we left (none of which were close to the hotel) and failed to find anywhere to get money. In the end the hotel let us pay by card without charge. Being able to pay by bank transfer if the fees for card payments are high could be an alternative that could work for many people. I use Wise which allows you to easily pay in the local currency and the transaction fees are very low.

The breakfast was amazing - pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs, bread, honey, jam, cheese, salad. Jamal and Adil were the most welcoming, friendly and helpful people. They made us feel so at home and like we were part of their family. I was unwell during our holiday and they both did their utmost to make me feel comfortable. The ladies who worked so hard in the kitchen were really lovely and presented beautiful food to us every time. The location is fantastic - out of the front door and two minutes later we were in the Souk with a ten minute walk to the main square where there were taxis if we wanted to go further afield. We also had a very interesting and hilarious ride on a Tuk-tuk through the middle of the Souk to a restaurant!
Nothing could have been better, it really was perfect.

Great location, short walk to the centre! Staff were brilliant very helpful and on call to any needs you had - which was a personal touch. Served a delicious breakfast and had a beautiful terrace!
Wi-fi connectivity wasnt great. Had to change between 3 different routers to get service.

The staff made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. Everyone was tremendously kind and helpful! The breakfast was delicious and the view from the terrace was such a delight to take in each morning.
The rooms weren't terribly sound-proof. We had to wear earbuds to bed because we could hear word for word the call to prayer in the middle of the night. Initially it was a novelty, but when you are exhausted from a long day, you just want to sleep through the night soundly.

Fantastic Riad sited inside the Medina. A short 10 min walk to the (crazy busy and noisy) main square via the fascinating souks. This meant we were situated in a quieter area but still near everything including some great restaurants. We felt very safe the whole time, people were friendly, and whilst we were encouraged to 'just look' at stalls, no-one was aggressive about it. The Riad was very clean, beds comfortable, great breakfast, and a delicious evening meal. The suite is absolutely stunning and one of the most beautiful rooms we've ever stayed in. The roof terrace has lots of seating and is a great place to unwind or sunbathe any time of day. Dar Zelda is managed by super helpful people who couldn't do enough - from recommending places to eat and things to see to finding our way around the maze of streets. They offered great advice throughout. Be aware that the pool is a small splash pool in the centre of the open courtyard but we all really enjoyed being able to cool off! Would highly recommend Dar Zelda and would definitely stay there again.
Nothing. Everything was great - the downstairs courtyard may seem functional at first but there were so many 'secret gems' to staying at Dar Zelda!
