The staff, breakfast, room, security, help, response time and more were amazing! Tea upon arrival. Some of the most beautiful pictures I’ve taken were actually of the road itself. Our room was perfect. Hot showers always and everything you need for a great stay. Breakfasts were on the rooftop. These were goods as well with a beautiful view. Hairdryer available. The beds are on the harder side but that’s been with all hotels we’ve stayed at within the country. AC as well and much appreciated after a hot day of walking! The location is on the outskirts of the square and souks. In a way it’s great… it’s not far to walk after parking a car. There’s a great restaurant literally a minute walk away called La Slimana. In another way it’s a far walk in the dark if you like to go out at night. Be aware the Souks close gates around 9 and there is no light at night. Maps also seem unaware of the closures. Overall, great stay and amazing staff!!
I would have liked a riad close to a late night rooftop bar if anything. Everything about the stay beyond that was wonderful

It was very much appreciated that they could make adjustments for our dietary needs, it was a fantastic way to begin the day! The room was spacious and included everything one desired, and we particularly enjoyed the toiletries. They were of great quality.

A small detail, but I actually really liked the thick towels provided and the toiletries provided smelled delicious. Check-in was conducted in a very nice way, they brought fresh tea and biscotti cookies. Staff was very gracious.

The service was so kind and professional and extremely warm and welcoming. The staff goes above and beyond to make everyone feel so so special. We enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop and loved the dinner even more!

We loved this Riad. It was perfectly located in the middle of the Medina. Close to shops, restaurants, souks and markets. It's the perfect way to experience the Moroccan culture first hand.
We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment with a terrace which provided us so much extra space. It was incredible to have 2 AC units and then so nice to have the outdoor private terrace to hang out in. It was on the rooftop so we also had access to so much more space with lovely tables and lounges.
The hosts were super friendly, helpful and provided us with maps and recommendations for the area. We were welcomed with Moroccan tea when we checked in and happy to provide anything we needed after that.
The Riad is definitely not easy to find and Taxis cannot drop you right in front. I would recommend booking a transfer through the Riad Dar Zelda so they can walk you from the taxi drop off directly to the entrance. We were able to figure it out on our own using Google Maps but it'd definitely be easier to have a guide.
Note the apartment with a terrace is on the top floor so there are a lot of stairs. The staff took our bags up and it wasn't a problem at all for us but could be for some travelers.

The very kind and helpful staff made this charming riad even more beautiful and special. It’s a jewel and quiet retreat from the souks. Very convenient location and the historic decorations and features of the riad are unforgettable!
The WiFi in our room wasn’t the strongest, which made internet research of nearby restaurants, attractions, etc. take a little longer.

We spent a couple of days at the facility and had the most amazing experience. The staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and went an extra mile to look after us. The location is excellent and provides you a real feel of what it feels like to live in an old and historical city like Marakach.
