The location was excellent, staff were great, Hammam and massage amazing. Rooftop terrace Idyllic - a wonderful place to relax and have a beer or glass of wine after a busy day in rhe city. The Riad is crammed full of interesting paintings, pictures, and all sorts of art which is almost worth a visit all on its own. The pool is... Well.. Not what I expected. It forms the focus of rhe dining area which with its tall pillars and pool in the middle is stunning. Its just that the pool is very small (10 ft x 18ft? ) and you'd have to be brave to use it in full view of everyone!
The breakfast was poor by Western standards. Option of eggs - omelette/scrambled/boiled sounds great - but is very plain. Theres nothing with the omelette - not even cheese. No ketchup, and the salt had things living in it. There was a selection of typical Moroccan breakfast items - pancakes/sort of flat crumpets/cake - all interesting but not going to set the World on fire. The hot chocolate came as a bowl of powder you mixed yourself into the milk they poured into your mug. Different! The 'freshly squeezed orange juice' was very very poor. As if it had been heavily watered down. After a couple of days the lack of choice was frustrating. I had booked the Riad on the basis of good breakfast reviews - clearly those reviews were placed by people with very low expectations. Being a Riad, built around courtyards, noise travels. Didn't really appreciate the staff playing local music on the radio presumably in the kitchen early in the morning as the noise permeated into our room - not great.

Beautiful riad on the edge of the Medina. The welcome was impeccable, the hospitality warm, friendly and genuine. The public spaces are really special, informed by an eclectic and sophisticated taste. The central atrium is a true oasis, as is the upstairs terrace. My only reservation is that there's no plunge pool on the roof - it's such a lovely place to relax but when it gets hot it would be lovely to slip into something cool... A really minor drawback because the atrium pool is so lovely. The host and hostess, Jean-Claude and Susana, could not be more welcoming and accommodating. I'd score it a firm 11 out of 10.

The Riad was beautifully designed and decorated, a true oasis of peace and calm. Our room (Douiria) was so spacious and comfortable, and all the staff were the warmest, most helpful and welcoming people. A great team!

The property itself is stunning very peaceful and quiet.
Location is just perfect and the neighbourhood is nice

It was soooo beautiful, we got an upgrade to a suite and it was very spacious and amazing. The staff were on hand to help with anything we needed. Had dinner one night and it was delicious

The staff were amazing and treated us like family, greeted by the owner Jean Claude on arrival and the rest of the team, kareema, meriam, tyeb, marwan and zain have all been amazing and very helpful, no request was too hard and always willing to help. The room was spacious and comfortable.
The food options within the riad were limited but many delicious options nearby so it wasn't a big problem.
