The concept of staying in a Riad was new for me and I think one should experience it . Though it was in the middle of the old town it had complete silence and you wouldn't hear any noise what so ever . The roof top balcony was very charming .

Authentic Riad with some French flair
Air conditioning unit blew air but not cooling. It was very hot and there is no flow through ventilation. I put a towel on the bed and had cold showers but not drying myself before lying back on the bed several times during the night to cool down.
The second time I stayed there it was cooler so i didnt need air conditioning. It was already on but the remote was missing and so I couldnt turn it off. ??

The room was very nice and clean, with air conditioner. Adil was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay in this riad and would recommend it to everyone who will be staying in Marrakech.
It was a little hard to find the riad, however Adil helped us, which made it a lot easier.

Adil was very attentive. One night we stayed out until after midnight. We didn't tell him that we would be late. When the taxi dripped us off at the usual location near the Riad he was there waiting for us. It was 30 minutes past midnight.

- Breakfast was disappointing compared to other breakfasts we have had in Morocco. (Coffee is cold and other things were lack lustre.)
Thats the only negative.

Mister Adil was excellent to us. We fell comfortable and safe, he was really helpful to everything. The location was 15 minutes far away from the centre, you have to be really careful if you are by yourself. We recommend the accommodation 100%. Thank you for everything!!!

Its in the old Medina and a bit tricky to find at first, but once you locate the tiny door in that dark narrow street, what you will find inside is beautiful, spacious, exceedingly charming, and comfortable.

Adil was amazing, he helped us with many things and made our stay so comfortable. The riad was beautiful and the room was amazing. Location of our Riad was also very convenient, right in the Medina. Would def stay here again and recommend this to anyone coming to Marrakech.

I spent 3 nights at Riad Dar Balthazar with a friend and it was a delightful experience. The riad is a beautiful oasis within the Medina of Marrakech. The location is just perfect to visit some of the main touristic attractions (Jeema el Fna square, the zouk, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, etc.), all of them easy to reach by a short walk from the hotel. There are only 5 rooms distributed around a beautiful courtyard, spacious and nicely decorated, fitting comfortable beds and tea supplies. This riad is a quiet, peaceful and lovely place to stay while exploring Marrakech. One of the most amazing areas of the riad is the rooftop, where we enjoyed a delicious fresh breakfast every morning. I'd like to thank Adil for his attentions and valuable help. He kindly organised a guided tour for us, the return transfers (airport-hotel-airport), and gave us great recommendations about places to visit in Morocco. Merci bien Adil !! :) trs bientt !
Everything was excellent! I highly recommend this place and if I ever return to Marrakech, I will stay here again.

Everything exceeded our expectations, the staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay, even in the middle of the night. The location was also quite strategic, just a few minutes walk from the Medina and the Secret Garden. Definitely recommended!
