Loved location, easy walk to centre, freshly prepared breakfast, roof top lounging areas, authenticity, hammam and massage. Made to feel very welcome by owners and staff. Very eager to help. Speak good English. Good price and value for money. Would recommend.
Very little we didnt enjoy but bed very hard after a long day walking.

Lovely riad, great location and very helpful staff. Pretty terrace and plenty of comfortable sun lounges/ sofas to relax. The nearby Ferblantiers Square has some great eateries and not forgetting the Kosy Bar for a glass wine or three!

Just about everything! The room was very comfortable and beautiful. They had a pool in the inner courtyard, to cool down after a hot day. The breakfast on the rooftop and super tasty dinner. Very good atmosphere. Also tried the hammam, and basically just rolled around on the lounge afterwards because we were soo relaxed.
There was a little miscommunication for our checkout. Nothing dramatic.

The Riad Ciel d'Orient was an oasis for me and my wife. Start with the very warm and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with any of our needs/requests. They made us feel like family the whole time during our week-long stay. Thanks to Said, Rashid, Abdelwahab, and the wonderfully friendly breakfast chefs who prepared our delicious morning meals. Next, the Riad is very well-situated on the edge of the medina, close to everything, within easy walking distance. Finally, the rooms were clean, easily big enough for two people, and everything worked. We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend to anyone heading to Marrakech.

The host was extremely helpfull. Waited for us to a very late check in at 3 am, didnt make any problems with it and even offered us a mint tea and buscuits in the middle of the night. Id stay there next time. Best stay Ive ever had in Marrakech.

Super friendly and accommodating hosts (allowing us to shift our reservation upon a short notice flight cancellation), excellent location within the historic district, yet outside the hustle and bustle of the market and souk areas. Beautifully decorated building and rooms, delicious breakfast on the roof top terrace. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you Rashid. Generally clean and tastefully decorated. Quiet area within 5 mins to Bahia square and 15 mins to the main square (Jemaa el fna) where there are lots of food, shop and entertainment options. Terrace was good, clean and great spot for a tan.
The location was close to the Bahia square but down small dark alleyways which were uncomfortable to walk through in the evenings as a solo traveller but probably fine for pairs/groups.
The sinks were bizarrely located a foot away from the ledge so difficult to reach.
The swimming pool was downstairs next to reception so not particularly usable as it was right in the middle of the rooms and not near the terrace/sun. I only really saw children there occasionally in the evening.
There were a lot of wasps around breakfast which I admit I have a particular aversion to so breakfast was frankly unbearable. The spread itself was fine with pancakes, bread, fruit. I originally stayed in Castor room which was on the terrace where breakfast was served so awakened by the noise of orange juice churning in the morning and then the other guests having breakfast which made sleeping difficult.
