Beautiful and good location. Dominique and her husband were very helpful and nice and always gave us good tips on how to navigate the city.
Wifi is not good but just outside the room was a couch with perfect wifi.

I could not have picked a better place to stay. I judge a place by the hosts and how the staff are treated and the atmosphere they create. It was a perfect place for me.
Dominique was amazing at sharing her extensive knowledge of Marrakesh, where to visit, shop and eat with patience and generosity of spirit.
There is an atmosphere of homeliness. This quiet and peaceful atmosphere was a wonderful respite after the frantic pace of the Madina.
Caramel, the cat was an added bonus
There is not much to dislike
Some may not like the look of the neighbourhood but I never for a moment felt unsafe. The shop keeper just around the corner from the riad was a delight.

Sy helpful and friendly staff. Clean. We especially loved breakfast and dinner on the rooftop.
Everything was great. But if I had to say it was a little far from the Medina. About 20 min on foot. Also if you are not a cat lover this place isnt for you.

Our stay at Riad Chocolat exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm and friendly hosts who made us feel right at home. The room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, the furnishings were tasteful, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. It was evident that the Riad takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of comfort for their guests. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional hospitality of the hosts. They were incredibly attentive and caring, always ensuring that we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to assist us in booking our trip to the desert, providing valuable recommendations, and making all the necessary arrangements. Overall, I cannot recommend this Riad enough. It offers a comfortable and relaxing stay, delicious breakfast, and most importantly, hosts who genuinely care about their guests' experience. If you're looking for a welcoming and attentive place to stay, this hotel is the perfect choice.
if you choose to walk to the city center during summertime, the high temperatures can make the distance feel longer than it actually is. Overall, the distance was not an issue for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk, as it only took us 20 minutes to reach the main square.

We had a wonderful stay at the riad. Very practical location to visit the main touristic areas but far enough from the "chaos" of the souk. Lovely terrasse to chill and eat outside. The owners were very helpful and provided us with lots of tips.

breakfast: fantastic, various options and flexible time. cleanness: very clean, and I really like the toiletries it provides, I think it is the only place that offers actual soap!!! staff: very friendly hosts there. internet: the internet is good. location: it is near one of the Bab and there are some local shops nearby. Good location.
One thing that I feel a bit awkward about is that there are many cats on the rooftop and you will also have your breakfast there. The cats are a bit disturbing as they attempt to join your breakfast all the time.

Chocolat is a marvellous Riad, an old house in Marrakech renovated with taste, very Morrocan, peaceful, beatifully decorated. Dominique, the owner, and her partner are very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast served in the beatiful terrace is very good. Reasonable internet, considering that the old walls are very thick
Well located, close to a gate in the Medina, you will not get lost
I will recommend them for sure, and go there again if ever in Marrakesh again

The owners we personal and available to answer all questions . the Riad communal spaces were inviting especially the upstairs outside deck space . my room was large, clean, well appointed & decorated in traditional Moroccan style. They are kind to people & animals .
the location as a single female traveler was a bit far and slightly scary to navigate to the tourist area . - an FYI to future travels , payment is on cash.

This place is lovely and we loved staying here. Hosts are great, they gave us tips to have the best experience in Marrakesh and helped us with everything we need and they made us feel like at home. The place is very nicely furnished, and much attention is given to the details. We had breakfast every morning in the terrace and it was great. This Riad is in the Medina but not in a very touristic zone, which we loved. It's at walking distance from everything and you can easily take a taxi in the street close to it. We would come back for sure!

attention to detail, a true and hospitable b&b, hosts nurture the clients, the orange car parked outside helped me to identify the area and arrange pick up, the city guide was integrated into the instagram account, solo-traveler friendy
the rainshower (apart from the normal one) can be improved since water leaked from the sides and the safebox lock couldnt function from the previous guest

It's been such an amazing experience staying in Riad Chocolat. Staff are exceptional, exceptional, exceptional! They catered to all my needs with so much care. Breakfast was made with passion and served with love. I enjoyed every bit of my stay in Riad Chocolat. The room is very clean and comfortable and I love the exquisite decor in every section of the Riad, including the rooftop. They also helped me book tours and gave me great tips to explore Marrakech. Location is very good and convenient. They have luggage storage facility which was a big plus for me while I was away touring other parts of Morocco. Everything was just perfect! Special thanks to Dominique and for sure, very highly recommended.
