The Riad is outstanding in the staff took very good care of us. Christine with a lineup a couple of tours that mean our experience extra delightful. Breakfast is great when I felt like we were welcome there.
Like many places in Morocco they only take cash. Wish they would’ve told me that before I arrived so I could’ve pulled money out of my bank in Europe.

This was probably the best accommodation I have ever stayed at in my life! All of the staff were incredibly, incredibly friendly. It's a small riad, so everything is very personalized. The riad, inside and out, is absolutely stunning. The room was very very clean. It was large and had a connecting private bathroom.
There is not very clear signage for the riad and it is kind of hard to find.

Our stay at Riad Chocolat was simply perfect. The rooms are amazing, very comfortable beds, beautiful bathroom, the decoration is beautiful, with a lot of objects that make the place unique. The breakfast was simply delicious. The staff is so kind, we felt like staying at home with family. we also like the location, in a more popular neighborhood, away from the crowded center of the medina. If we come back to Marrakech we will for sure stay there again!

Magnificent oasis in the midst of insanely busy outside world) welcomed by Christine, showed everth, assisted us in every issue all through the stay. Went to the Ourika valley with her help, was great. WiFi doesn't work on the rooftop and also didn't in our room. On day 2nd we realised that this was for the better, managed to switch off ourselves and relax on the rooftop, which was decorated with love to every detail. Merci beaucoup

The staff was absolutely welcoming. Christine waited for us to check in despite us arriving at the riad at 9-10pm and sat down with us with a map to show us the locations of the various locations, recommended restaurants, routes to take, etc. As we hadn't had dinner and had no dirham with us, she took us to a local eatery and loaned us some money without hesitation. She also helped to call our travel agent to confirm our onwards travel arrangements. Other staff members, Abdul and Namia, were friendly and made our stay that much more pleasant.
There is also a nice rooftop garden for guests to just chill after a hectic day exploring the medina.
We had two rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. Wifi was a little sketchy on the first floor.

So, first of all, I really liked the Riad: how it was decorated, how it was divided, the rooms, and the way the staff welcomed me. I found it very comfortable, and I felt at home, which is exactly what I look for when I travel. I want to feel at home; I want to feel not just like a guest but truly welcomed, appreciated, and not just like a “walking dollar bill”. It’s very quiet, and that’s important for those who not only want to immerse themselves in the chaos of Marrakech’s Medina but also have a peaceful space to relax, take a nice hot shower, rest, and sleep to recharge for the journey. I found this really interesting. I usually travel staying in hostels, but sometimes they can be too chaotic, especially when I’m on the road or backpacking. But this Riyadh was exactly what I needed—it was the perfect way to end the trip. I really needed to relax while still enjoying the energy of Marrakech at the same time.
Breakfast is amazing too! You actually don’t even need lunch after that!

The best hospitality treatment i have ever received. From the staff oh mine! They were really lovely, friendly and amazing. They made me feel at home. The riad was 100% clean. The breakfast was very good. I can go on and on
But in all, I will give a 10 out 0f 10.
When next I visit marrakech, I will choose RAID CHOCOLAT

The roof top garden
The room was tiny with no where to sit. Therefore the roof top garden was lovely and important for us. A few days of our stay the roof top garden furniture was covered because staff were concerned it ‘might’ rain - when there was no rain. We were all day on an excursion. It did rain heavily that day with floods. We arrived back to Riad late, soaked, hungry and tired. We asked for some food, even just bread, we were advised of a food delivery app. We had said we were struggling to get any WiFi in the riad & therefore couldn’t get the app working. (When we returned to uk my partners bank had a fraudulent transaction from this app) we went to bed without eating. Reluctance to order us taxi’s when we asked - especially to airport; we therefore struggled in the very busy streets with suitcase, crossing trying to hail a taxi. When we arrived in Marrakesh we’d arranged for the riad to send a car to pick us up, it wasn’t there, we waited a looked everywhere and had to find a taxi rank. We booked this riad attracted to the rooftop terrace (which for half the stay we were unable to use) and the rave reviews of how helpful they were, we did not have this experience.

The staff were very friendly and went out their way to provide foods we liked. Abdul was very interesting to talk to about Berber culture. The meals were lovely.
The shower water pressure was very poor and there was almost no hot water. Room was noisy as it was off the central courtyard by the stairs. The roof terrace could have been nice, but all the cushion stank of cat pee.

Beautiful place, off the beaten track but within walking distance to all the souks and even Jardin Majorelle. It has lots of personality and beautiful aesthetics but is also quiet and comfortable. The staff are amazing and will take good care of you.

Extremely cosy Riad, very well decorated, and with superior quality of bed, cloths, towels.
Christine and the team were very welcoming and we had a private counselling on what to do around. Super nice!
Seems to be quite fresh in summer time.
Location is basically 2km from medina center, so you have to walk a bit to come and go everyday, including to go out for dinner.
