The Charme d'Orient was beautiful and the staff were helpful in every way. They shared insights about the. culture of Marrakech, the Berber people, and of Morocco overall. They even helped me find a pharmacy when I really needed one, walking with me to make sure I didn't get lost. I hope you have as nice a stay as I did when you come.

There are so many beautiful Riads in Marrakesh (and Morocco), we spent nights in five different ones during our trip. Although we have fond memories of each one, the Riad Charme d'Orient Adults Only is truly the best we have been to, not only in Morocco but one of the best places we have been staying to while traveling around the world. So if you are looking for a wonderful, family-friendly place and wondering where to spend your nights in Marrakesh... look no further than this beautiful Riad. From the moment you walk in, you will be surrounded by beautiful interiors and most importantly wonderful people, the entire team and the owner Laurence , make you feel like you are visiting old friends or family. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the bedding and towels are crisp fresh white, every detail of the room and all Riad has the highest quality. Breakfast served on the terrace was the tastiest we have had in Morocco, also beautifully served :) , Laurence, thank you again for the wonderful welcome and help us buying tickets to Jardin Majorelle. Also , big thank you to the entire fantastic team, especially to Said. We will definitely be back one day in the future.

The property was absolutely fantastic, from the moment you walk in, the atmosphere created makes you feel you are in Marrakesh straight away.
The Riad is stunning, beautifully decorated, comfortable and relaxed.
Our room was perfect, every time we came back at the end of the day it had been tidied and freshened up by the staff .
We had a fantastic stay, Laurence and the staff were so so welcoming and friendly they make you feel part of their family.
They made our stay perfect.
If you are looking for a Riad to give you the experience of Marrakesh then I would highly recommend this property. Hopefully if we return we would not consider anywhere else to stay.

Great breakfast, impressive staff, genuine amiability, truly caring about the business, going above and beyond for everything. Honestly if all places would be like this, I'd be happy.
Also, try the massage option! Seriously beautiful. Next level, I'd happily stay there for a month.

From the moment my partner and I arrived, Laurence and the team went above and beyond to make our stay truly unforgettable. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcome and at home. Nothing was too much trouble—they anticipated every need with effortless grace.
The riad itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and exuding charm at every turn. Every detail is carefully considered, creating an atmosphere of pure relaxation and luxury. And the included breakfast was simply divine! Fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day.
I genuinely cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for an exceptional stay with incredible service, this is it. An absolute gem—I can't wait to return!

It is very cool! Completely nondescript from the front door, you step into an exquisitely designed, immaculately clean oasis.
The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. Great location, less than 10 minutes walk to the medina, and good local restaurants, Excellent communication prior to arrival.

Returning to this oasis after each busy day of sightseeing was like being welcomed into an old friend's home. The riad offers huge breakfasts with different items every day, and sweet mint tea (the best we have had in Morocco) is always available. There are places to relax, including deck chairs on the sunny roof terrace and seats beside the running water of the internal pool. There is also a hammam available, which was great. Above all, this was the most incredible hospitality we have ever experienced on our travels. Highly recommend!

Charme d’Orient was better than expected, traditional beautiful Riad , super clean & in a great location, only a short walk to most of the local attractions tombs, palace & medina. Pool & jacuzzi not open when we were there, we did know this prior to our arrival - will have to go back when it is open as looks lovely!
Laurence & her staff were very attentive & could not praise them enough, very helpful, polite & all lovely. Coco the parrot was very entertaining?.

Wonderful
A superb Riad. A really nice alternative to the 'normal' hotel type stay. It is excellently located for exploring Marrakech or for Tour pick ups - a nearby walk.

STOP THAT ENDLESS SCROLLING THROUGH RIADS, AND JUST BOOK THIS ONE!!!! Laurence and her team treated us like beloved family, from seamless airport pick up to making sure our stay with them was perfect. The riad itself is truly charming, the rooms were immaculate, the decor like your dreams of Marrakech! We were welcomed with mint tea and all our baggage quietly taken to our room. The breakfast was amazing, substantial and lasted us well into the afternoon. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay 2 nights! We're DEFINITELY going back!!!

I haven't actually stayed in another riad in Marrakech, but I would argue that this one is definitely the best of the bunch.
As soon as you step through the doors from the hustle and bustle of the city, the riad serves as an oasis with the sound of trickling water and relaxing music. The location is great- still only a 10 minute walk to the main square or a 10-minute taxi to the new town (which Laurence and the team can organise for you) without it being too busy in the surrounding areas.
We booked in for the couples hammam and massage which was absolutely brilliant and so relaxing. We would definitely recommend the experience if you haven't had one before (or even if you have). We also ate at the riad one evening and the food was delicious.
But I think the main thing that makes this riad so spectacular is the team. We felt so welcomed and they were always on hand to help us with organising taxis or advising on where we should go. We stayed in other places as part of our trip in Morocco but none of the hospitality (or the teas!) even came close to comparing to the Riad Charme d'Orient.
We can't thank Laurence, Said, Soufiane, Asnah, Fatima, Fatimazahra and Warda enough. We had an unforgettable stay.
I can't even think of something to write here. It was beyond our expectations!
