The location of Riad Bel Haj was fantastic. In the medina, very easy access for taxis as well as all the main sites. A wonderful serene place to come back to after a day in the busy souks! Mohammed really made our stay, the breakfast each morning was delicious. He helped with organising taxis and general advice. He also makes a tasty chicken tagine (had the option of veg or meat too) which we got enjoy one evening on the roof terrace.
The mint tea and biscuits on arrival was a lovely touch too!
Our room was lovely, and don’t feel like the photos quite do it justice!

I honestly could not recommend this Riad enough! Excellent communication before arrival and organised transfers ect beforehand. The location was perfect, especially for a night arrival as you are close for the taxi drop point yet also to the center of the Medina and attractions. The Riad itself is so beautiful and peaceful, it was a perfect little sanctuary in the middle of Marrakech. All of the staff were amazing; Mohammed treated us all like royalty from our arrival, and went above and beyond helping us with planning and transfers for the next part of the trip. We had a traditional meal on the rooftop on the night we arrived which was the best we had in Marrakech, and the breakfast each morning was also lovely. We were all sad to leave this place and would definitely wish to go back!

The Riad is well located, easy to find, and really beatiful and quiet. The staff is warm, attentive and super friendly. The nice breakfast is served on their beautiful rooftop terrase. The room it self is beautifull, good beds and pillows. I already mentioned the friendly staff but I felt really spoiled. I had a late flight and was allowed to keep the room after the usual check-out time. I will definitely go back to Riad Bel Haj

The riad is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. It was great after a hectic journey to step into the riad and be welcomed with tea and snacks in such a serene environment! Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a real highlight. The host, Mohammed, was incredibly friendly and his food was the best food we had for all of our ten days in Morocco.
We had the room right by the front door so I didn't sleep well at all because of the noise, but I think this is partly a problem with me being a light sleeper (I suffered with this with other roads we stayed in). Also the drains were a bit smelly, but shutting the bathroom door helped.
