One of those rare places that immediately feels special. This beautifully restored riad sits in the Marrakech medina and offers an atmosphere unlike anything you'd find in a regular hotel. The staff were kind, thoughtful and genuinely eager to help, nothing felt too much trouble. Waking up to breakfast in the courtyard every morning was an absolute highlight. Ideally located within easy walking distance of Jemaa el-Fna and the city's most iconic sights.

Claude, the owner of the Riad AZZA, was very welcoming, communicative, and attentive. He seemed to go above and beyond to ensure guests are well taken care of and have an enjoyable stay. The location (though bit hard to find because Google Maps shows wrong location) was great - in quiet and lovely area that seemed to be a riad hub, close to Jemaa Square and souks but far away enough to feel serene. The riad is nicely decorated with lovely courtyard. The breakfast was nice. Overall, I’d highly recommend a stay at Riad AZZA.
Typical of riads, amenities are minimal - no TV or mini fridge in the room; very basic toiletries; no gym or restaurant onsite; very dim lightning in the room; and towels were overly starched, not soft and fluffy.

Claude made the stay amazing, great host, always ready to help, and the Riad inside is beautiful and well decorated.
The bathroom had a bit of a smell, but I think it's not easy to solve these things in a place like Marraketch. Still a 5* for everything.

Excellent breakfast. Great host. Claude the host was extremely kind and helpful. He met us from the taxi and took us to the Riad ( the location is down alleys as are most Riads in the Medina).
Marrakesh in generdl including the Riad payment operates by cash not card.

Stayed here for 3 nights over recent half term. The riad looks better in real life than in the photos! It is calm, clean and the owner was really welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Our ground floor room was authentically decorated and breakfast was always fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace for a sundowner :) Would definitely stay here again; thank you, Claude.

The host was a really nice person. He tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were served fresh, tasty orange juice every day.
Initially, we got a room that had a bad smell, but the host accommodated us into another room, which was smaller. The terrace area was not open for dining.

The owner of Riad Azza Claude is very friendly, he provided each guest with a map of Marrakech and guided us how to get to the main places of interests.
The room can be cleaner.
Prepare to pay 20DH for someone to carry luggage for you from or to the taxi stand
