Breakfast was superb, I am gluten intolerant and was offered plenty of alternatives, we were also offered breakfast on the rooftop and took advantage of this when the sun was up in the morning. The riad is very quiet. The surrounding area looks a little rundown when you initially arrive but don't let that put you off as its actually the damaged neighbouring properties that experienced damage during the 2023 earthquake and are slowly being rebuilt.

Highly recommend this Riad. Everything was fantastic - the staff are very friendly, our room and the common areas are high quality, location convenient and the breakfast delicious. Special thanks to Simo for always offering a friendly chat and helping us out. Would happily return.

We stayed at Riad Azahar for 6 nights. Our flight in was delayed and we got a little lost on the way as the roads around Marrakesh are a maze! But the owner Roberto stayed up to greet us at the door. The Riad was beautiful with a fantastic rooftop terrace and an amazing view over the city and was beautiful at sunset. During our stay we really enjoyed getting to know the staff, with Simo and Jassine in particular helping answer our many many questions at all times of day and night and they ensured our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We also enjoyed a private Hammam and massage at the Riad on our last day and would recommend the experience as it gave us privacy and the women were accommodating, taking care not to aggravate mosquito bites, etc. On the last day they helped us store our bags and continue to use the facilities until our evening flight. The whole team was fantastic and we loved our stay.

It was simply beautiful, there arent many rooms, so you felt very welcome and were able to build a relationship with the staff. It was a great location, it was clean and pretty too.

Roberto and Simo were super attentive. They made sure our every wish was catered for. We arrived in such a hectic flurry of emotion having been lead to the riad by some local guys making some quick money from tourists, we thought wed be clever by arranging our own connection from our previous trip, but we should have entrusted Roberto to look after us. (Roberto we are sorry for this!!). The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with air con to ensure we were able to sleep in the otherwise clammy warm Moroccan conditions, the breakfast was always to an exceptional standard, mostly thanks to Simo and his accompanying colleagues. We have stayed in many many riads around the medina, and this one is a place I could wholeheartedly recommend. It stands head and shoulders above most. We loved the fact that the location, although central enough, is quiet to the point you dont feel overlooked. The roof terrace is beautiful and the facilities are more than adequate. We shall be back, should we be welcome! Enjoy the gin, Roberto!

The entire property was always clean and immaculate. The staff and owners were friendly and always happy to help night or day. Simon and Nilde were wonderful guests and we were sad to leave.
All good really,. Maybe a few more books but not really important. We did not know there were more breakfast options so perhaps this can be made clear.

The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful and you could tell they wanted to make sure we had the best stay. The style and finish was to a very high standard, we loved the decor. There were also nice touches like welcome tea and biscuits on arrival, water in the room etc and overall it was a lovely experience and would recommend.

The riad was amazing and very cozy. The location was also great, situated near the main attractions and in close proximity to a taxi stand. We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed by Roberto, the owner, who provided us with a map of Marrakech and explained in detail how to get to the main attractions. He also suggested and booked a restaurant for us for dinner, which was incredible with authentic dishes and live entertainment. Roberto kindly walked us to the restaurant as well. During our stay we were taken care by Simo, one of the lovely staff members. He accommodated all our needs and was very helpful when we had to arrange an early breakfast due to planned travel arrangements and flight schedule. Everyone at the riad was very friendly and nice. We would definitely book another stay there and would recommend the place to anyone without hesitation. Thank you for enhancing our trip.
