this is a lovely little hotel in the traditional style and if you want authentic Marakesch then you can do no better than stay here. The building is a typical Riad with courtyard and traditional decor. The staff were so very kind and nothing was too much trouble for them. The women spoke only French and Arabic but my low level French was sufficient. The breakfast was excellent a number of very small dishes but all in all quite sufficient in quantity. Yoghurt, fresh fruit, pastries, jam, honey with strong coffee etc. The room was a good size and the shower was open and had a good water pressure. There was a small rooftop terrace with views of the Atlas mountains. It is very well situated just two minutes walk from the Souk and close to other highlights of a stay in the Medina.
For the week we were there in mid January it was very cold and the only heating in the room was the element in the air con unit so ambient temperature in the bedroom reached around 17-18c if left on all night so still quite chilly especially with tiled floors! The same applied to breakfast served in the courtyard with just a tarpaulin cover overhead so in effect we were sitting outside for breakfast with the temperature around 5-6c so in layers and with an overcoat. Its no ones fault just something to be aware of during January but I imagine very lovely in April/May and October/November when outside temperatures at that time of the day would be high teens and low 20s. Just one other caution aimed more at the solo or elderly traveler. The Riad is located some 300m from the nearest car access so need to carry luggage through the souk to the hotel yourself and the Riad is situated on a very small side street which although lit has a derelict site along the way and a number of youths hang out in that alley way. It was all fine for us but could be intimidating for the more nervous.

It was a true Riad and we enjoyed that it was authentic.
I didn’t like that you couldn’t get a car to the hotel and had to walk through the narrow alley/streets to take your luggage.
Stairs were very cumbersome with luggage in the riad.
People constantly bothering you to try and find your Riad and demand money. We (my husband and I as well as our 2 grown sons ages 24 & 21) were followed by 2 small boys (no more than 10) back to our Riad after shopping. We knew where we were going but they ran ahead of us and then demanded money. When we refused they said “f you” and made a gun signal with their hands.

This Riad comes highly recommended and the staff were lovely. The rooms were beautiful and the photos ops were endless. It was in a great location and the roof top terrace has incredible views of Marrakech for sunset. I will definitely be back soon!

This was my first Riad in Morocco and it certainly set the bar. From the pick up to my last day, the service was phenomenal. I requested transportation to pick me up and take me to the entrance of the media. Then someone from the road picked me up on his motorbike which was an added bonus as I got to ride through the media on a bike. So much fun! The location is fantastic. Just 10 minutes from Cafe France, which is a meeting point for A LOT of excursions and transportation. It’s a 15 mi. Walk to lots of things. It was all about the details for me. From the mint tea with cookies they have to great you upon your arrival to the toiletries they have available. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan breakfast so be prepared for lots of carbs.
The beds are relatively firm so be prepared for that. I personally like my bed a little more soft but I quickly found out that ALL beds in Morocco are super firm

This riad is a true hidden gem in Marrakech. Tucked away in the Medina, it’s clean, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, making you feel right at home. The homemade breakfast is generous and delicious, a perfect way to start the day. Its location is ideal for experiencing the city and soaking in the local vibe. Highly recommended!

The staff was amazing, very helpful, kind and attentive. The riad was very beautiful with a nice rooftop. The room was pretty big. The breakfast was huge and very delicious. We would repeat the visit undoubtably.
The bathroom was rustic and beautiful but with old equipment with too little light, old mirror and low water pressure. However, this does not overshodow the positives.
