Great property with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the location right at the entrance of the Medina was perfect. Our family absolutely loved it

The staff, location and site itself were over and above what we anticipated. We stayed in the Royale Suite. Gorgeous and centrally located on the ground floor but still quiet from noise.
We did have some power outages.

Staff is friendly, polite and helpful. However, the restaurant staff frequently forgot the details: no napkins, having to remind them to bring an item that was ordered and not clearing tables to create room when bringing additional items to the table. The room that we had (Royal Suite) was enormous as well as comfortable.
Cleanliness around the pool area could have been better. Keep the cats out of the hotel!

The staff was very nice and tried their best (except for one lady in the reception). The architecture was beautiful!
However, this hotel does not deserve 5 stars but 2-3 the most. This was an expensive mistake on my part. While the riad's architecture is beautiful, the days of glory of this place are long gone. The location was unexpectedly bad. The bed, towels, sheets, and pillows were dingy, overused, and lumpy. The room smelled of urine and bathroom walls were stained. I don't even want to think of what the stains were. I would rate this room as a 2 star room and the hotel as a 3 star place. Overall, terrible, terrible, terrible experience.

It was a kind of magical moments staying in an ambience and traditional lifestyle of Marakesh. The reception, restaurant and housekeeper received us with kind care and heart of hospitality. It is a hotel one can never forget.

Palais Donab exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s a luxurious and atmospheric escape that perfectly reflects the spirit of Marrakech. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in the city.
While the breakfast was amazing, the one dinner we had there was underwhelming and overpriced.

This property is beautiful and the staff were lovely, helpful and efficient.
Unfortunately our room backed on to the hotel’s laundry facility and the staff would talk and laugh late into the night as they did the laundry which was disruptive. We had to ask that they keep quiet 3 days in a row before they seemed to understand that we could hear them and they were keeping us awake.

Great location on the edge of the Medina. Very peaceful respite from the chaos outside. Live music in the restaurant several nights added to the ambience. Beautiful tile work and fountain.
I think the restaurant is overrated. The food is just OK, but the poolside setting is very nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palais Dar Donab Riad. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the old Medina, giving easy access to the souks and other historic sites, yet conveniently close to one of the main entry points to the Medina. This made it much easier to get in and out, especially when heading to the more modern parts of Marrakech.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the Riad itself is beautiful and clean. Housekeeping was attentive and consistent throughout our stay.
One thing to keep in mind for budget-conscious travelers: there is no self-service laundry room. Laundry is done by the item, which can add up quickly if you’re on a longer trip.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place.

We were very happy with the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious. The breakfast was great. THe hotel was very well positioned within Marrakech. We stayed for two nights and all went very well. We had our own dedicated internet connection for the room.

We stayed in the koutobia suite, great space though the room is very dark, most likely to minimise heat in the summer months.
Service at breakfast was very slow.
