It was a very nice Palace (bigger than Riads), in the heart of Medina. It has a big courtyard with a little pool in the middle. All details are very nice that there were even tours coming in and see as a visit side. Our room was clean and so nice and big at the top, having a seperate terrace with chaise longue. Breakfast was nice with Moroccon classics. We also had a dinner on the last night, near the pool, which was pleasant. Higly recommended!

Very beautiful building and room at a great location, with friendly staff and superb breakfast.
If there's only one thing it's maybe coffee facilities in reception area or in room.

Great room in a great location. Beautiful setting with friendly helpful staff. Restaurant was lovely with very good food. Enjoyed the pool very much.
Some maintenance needs not attended including loose door handle on the door to the room, and cupboards not shutting properly. Also the towels were clean but old and very well used, and the bathrobes too small for the average person - too short and not big enough to wrap around.

This is best location in Medina. The staff is nice. It's a beautiful property. And it's quite peaceful inside. The Riad helped us get a great driver for 3 day trips.
The exorbitant costs associated with doing a small load of laundry - 450DH for small load of shirts, socks and underwear. The staff wasn't always quite ready at 7am for breakfast. And some tables in the breakfast area outside still not cleaned from dinner night before. Room sometimes wasn't timely cleaned. The Wi-Fi is not great. The pool looked a little dirty. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time at your Riad, I would find something less expensive.

Stunning property in a fantastic location. Fifteen minutes walk to the bustling square in Marrakech and also on a quiet street lined with great shops and cafes that all lead through the Medina to the square.
The pool is beautiful and all number of alcoholic beverages are available from the bar. Helpful and courteous staff that took care at all my needs.

Palais Donab is one of the best places I have stayed in years. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and went above and above to make us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious. The location is just inside the medina and perfect for accessing all of Marrakesh. The pool was a wonderful break from the mid-day heat. I would absolutely stay here again.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and there was a constant delightful but not overpowering scent of orange blossom everywhere. The pool was very refreshing and large enough to swim laps. Staff brought out towels and lounge chairs upon request to use the pool. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and both were delicious, especially the lamb tagine. Staff were incredibly thoughtful and bent over backwards to make our stay especially lovely- one day they brought a plate of fresh fruit to the room, another day a bouquet of roses. After dinner we asked if we could take our leftover olives and bread back to our room and they wrapped up a whole plate for us with additional olives and bread. The shower had excellent water pressure and was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent- very close to a taxi drop-off spot, a short walk to Jemaa el Fna and even closer to Jardin Secret and many wonderful shops and restaurants in the souks. I highly recommend staying here and would happily stay here again if/when we return to Marrakech!
The bar selection was ok but a bit limited.

Beautiful surroundings, theres nothing nicer than sitting in the sun by the pool eating the delicious food and the gorgeous floofy cat is an added bonus ! The rooms are big, super clean, great facilities and probably the most comfortable bed of any hotel Ive stayed in. The staff were amazing - genuine and so friendly - honestly the best place Ive ever stayed in Marrakech.
Nothing - everything was superb. I couldnt think of anything they could improve on.
