Wonderful, traditional Riad with beautiful tile work, floor plan, roof terrace, and a very accessible pool! The manager, Hamsa, was so welcoming and open to help with any directions or information we needed, even a political discussion. The assistant manager, Zachariah, took over at night and served a yummy breakfast that changed each morning. Those two really made staying there more personal and fun!
Everything was great, we loved our entire stay, especially the staff. Maybe more coffee at breakfast.

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was what one would expect for Europe and Africa. Clean linens, towels, etc, everyday, lots hot water
Web site promised tv ( but didnt work), a fridge ( none). In the souks ( narrow local markets) the motorcycles roar dangerously by and the Marrekech authorities dont care and the locals feel the same.

It was OK for night in the city. The roof terrace is small and not really useable for lower floor guest as seveerral rooms open onto it. The pool is loverly and refreshing, food it good and the staff friendly.
Approaches to the hotel could use better signs and its a schelp with bags 400 yards down some colourful rat runs

Location is only 20 minutes walk from the main square that may aswell be an hour or two because you have to go through the market (souk) to get to it you will get lost.

We are very glad that we booked our rooms at the Riad Belbaraka. It is a very great experience and recommendable for anyone who wants to have an unique experience from Morocco. The rooms were very clean and the Breakfast was nice. Compliments to the receptionist Muhammed for his genuine personality and for going above and beyond his duties, to ensure a great stay for the guests.

We were caught out one evening trying to walk back to the Riad through the souks which were closing, which felt quite threatening and it would have been helpful to know that in advance.

Staff were really friendly, breakfast/pool area was great and everything was very clean. Breakfast was great, particularly the setting by the pool.
The description on which we booked was incorrect. There was no separate living area with sofa bed or washing machine. In the end we changed rooms as the initial room we were given only had a double bed and we booked a room with separate beds as we were friends travelling together, not a couple.
