It was a truly wonderful stay. Not just because of the exquisite interior and gardens, but because the staff really seemed to care. Such beautiful manners. So warm. Not at all stuffy. I have a very restricted diet at the moment, and they were so concerned to see me fed properly. It really touched my heart. Extra-special shout-out to the breakfast team. They were in a league of their own. I just loved everything and everyone in this place. It made a birthday treat even more special than we could have hoped. Thank you!!
Nothing. (OK, maybe the big road outside the hotel that you have to cross to get into the main part of the medina. I found it a bit scary, crossing seven lanes of horses, mopeds and cars. I just waited for a local and followed them! haha)

Amazing hotel, beautiful hidden oasis, very luxurious, central to all locations within Medina and close to the airport.
The hotel room did not have black out curtains or blinds so when the sun came up, we were awake as the room was too bright. The gym/fitness room is very small.

Strategically located hotel, professional staff, in particular front desk, concierge, car valet and all restaurant staff, with top professional Mr Sofian... Excellent breakfast in the middle of beautiful gardens.
Some inconsistencies regarding a diner reservation not honoured. One hour later a fantastic very professional staff member (Mr Sofian, I think) sorted out the whole issue in a very elegant way.

The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice.
First of all the hotel is on a very busy street between a motorcycle repair shop and a tire shop. I was astonished to see that the entrance of this hotel was on this very busy street between these two shops. Not an inviting entrance. Once youre inside it is much nicer but it is small. They do have some cute cozy rooms for guests to hang out and stay in. The gym is not much of a gym. we liked the Hamaam and massage but I had a terrible reaction to the oils from the spa and I have a bad rash covering my whole body and Im not on topicals abs steroids to heal it. Our rooms where very strange with our bathrooms being a stairwell apart from our actual rooms. I found this to be extremely dangerous (& annoying) for anyone but especially for elders or people who have toddlers. Once in the middle of the night I went to the restroom and coming back, I slipped coming down the stairs. so dangerous! My shower was leaking all over and my girls found a roach in their bathroom. The beds were not bad and the linens were clean. Nice towels too. But they could update the rooms to have more plugs to charge your devices.
