Only one issue that I don’t like about this is that bedroom is not having a queen bed! It’s just two connected beds!! I don’t like that. Otherwise everything is fine.

The hotel was so beautiful and tranquil. Set slightly outside of the town (10 min car ride to the Medina) it was a nice haven to come back to after a busy day. The food and service were 10/10. The staff were very attentive. We spent most of our time in the stunning garden and pool, will definitely recommend!

The staff were very good , lovely and accommodating. Friendly and go out of their way to help.
The rooms need to have satellite TV to sign into Netflix etc
Breakfast very poor , no eggs or hot food , not worth the money .
Comfy rooms and beds comfy , great shower , easy to get taxi into town /airport.
I didn't understand why there were no bins around the whole complex or even in the rooms , this should be updated .

It was a haven outside of the bustling city and was such a peaceful retreat. Such comfortable beds and a wholesome breakfast to start the day. The bar staff were all very friendly and offered a menu so you can eat in too, if you don’t want a day out in Marrakech.
We needed the mini golf clubs to play outside in the beautiful gardens! This is the only minor comment I can make. However the property itself is fantastic and offers a giant Connect 4, French Boules and table tennis in the tranquil gardens .

The place feels like a little oasis. It’s quiet and has a beautiful pool, I think it’s a new build place but it feels older thanks to the thoughtful classical decor. Our room was a Superior Suite on the ground floor which was spacious, had a terrace, a big bathroom and even a walk in wardrobe area. The villa, grounds and communal areas are very nice and well kept. It was a very pleasant place to stay. It is possible to walk into the city in about 25 minutes - we tended to walk during the day and get a cab back which was generally about 120MAD. The staff seemed pleasant enough although we didn’t have much interaction with them. As we went in a low season it was very quiet which suited us.
I would consider staying there again if I returned to Marrakesh.
There was some minor things that I think would improve the property so this is constructive feedback rather than criticism.
- it would be helpful to get information or orientation when you arrive. We had no idea when breakfast would be available or where, how to get hold of staff if needed or info about the local area
- the TV in our room didn’t work at all so it might as well not be there
- wifi is very patchy and dropped out a lot
- There are no plug sockets by the bed
- we like animals so the 2 little dogs are ok for us but they yap and run at you which might be intimidating to someone who does not like them
- it was not possible to get just a glass of sangria only a jug which was about €50 and took about an hour to arrive.
- the food was ok, I had a pasta with salmon which was nice and the chips were good but the chicken tagine was very dry which is the opposite of what you’d expect in Morocco! It was not that reasonably priced either compared to restaurants in the city which have better food
- for the price and standard of the hotel I would expect a better breakfast. Each day was the same, a couple of small pancakes, and some fried flat bread with tea/coffee, small glass of orange juice plus a couple of butter pats, jam and laughing cow cheese triangles. Also a granola yoghurt or fruit salad. It was ‘ok’ and we gladly ate it but some pastries, eggs and fresh fruit like melon would be a nice addition to give more variety.

This is a beautiful, small, boutique hotel that looks and feels very exclusive. There are only 9 bedrooms so the pool area is never crowded and always exceptionally clean. It was lovely a peaceful with gentle music playing from the poolside bar and set it immaculate gardens. It’s like a posh villa away from home.
On top of this, the staff treat you like royalty from the moment we arrived to the moment we left - they couldn’t do enough for us - welcoming us with drinks, and not just delivering food but giving us top tips of places to visit, fixing us up with our own personal taxi driver for the week and just being as friendly and helpful as they could possibly be.
It is only a short taxi ride out of the city centre and we really enjoyed not being in the middle of the city which is wonderful but noisy and busy and Villa De Golfes is a lovely and peaceful respite from the heat and bustle
We were really sad to leave.
