Located a 10-minute drive from Marrakech’s medina district, this property provides an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens. We stayed at La Maison des Oliviers for 5 nights and had an overall enjoyable and relaxing experience. The setting is stunning, and it’s a great place to unwind after exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech. • Beautiful hotel grounds – Lush gardens and well-maintained surroundings created a peaceful, resort-like feel. • Lovely swimming pool – Spacious, clean, and perfect for cooling down. Lots of sun loungers and beds were always available. • Peaceful atmosphere – The hotel was quiet and calm, ideal for relaxing without crowds or noise. • Room upgrade on arrival – A thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture that made our stay feel special. • Tasty breakfast – A nice variety of traditional Moroccan and continental options, including fresh breads, pancakes, eggs, cheese, salads, and sausages. • Helpful reception staff – Friendly, polite, and professional throughout our stay.
If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic escape with a beautiful pool and relaxing vibe, La Maison des Oliviers is a great option. There are a few areas where service and room maintenance could improve, but overall, we had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.

Avoid at all costs – dishonest staff and scam tactics I had one of the worst experiences ever at La Maison des Oliviers. After a long and exhausting trip, I was promised early check-in at 8 AM only if I paid immediately. Trusting their word, I paid—only to be told afterward that check-in was actually at 14h. No honesty, no flexibility, and absolutely no respect for guests. The worst part? The reservation was marked as non-refundable, so I had no place to rest and lost my money entirely. This is outright scamming. The staff member deliberately misled me just to secure the payment. I ended up leaving and booking elsewhere. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind—stay far away from this place. Booking.com needs to seriously investigate this behavior.

The hotel was ok. The grounds were well kept. The cleaning staff were the only ones that smiled!
Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Bottled water was charged for and only available between 07:30 and 18:00 outside these hours we found it impossible to get any food or drink! The hotel was located in a very rough looking area miles from any shops. While the property was clean, there were several issues that made our stay less than enjoyable. The staff, for one, were unhelpful and rather dismissive. It felt like any request or question was a burden, which made us uncomfortable throughout our visit. We had booked a suite based on specific amenities listed, including a desk and soundproofing—neither of which were present. The lack of soundproofing especially made it difficult to sleep, as outside noise was an issue. Additionally, although the listing mentioned a garden, we had to request twice for furniture. Overall, it felt like the hotel cared more about appearances online than providing an experience that matched in real life. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for comfort, service, or a stay that matches what you paid for.

Beautiful room and gardens - lovely pool.
It was located in an area that was very run down and there were huge piles of rotting rubbish just over the wall surrounding the hotel - there were a lot of bluebottle flies around the pool as a result.

We were really glad to stay here after staying in the medina. The place is lovely. They organised all our taxis. They don’t take card, only cash or else they put it all on a tab and you pay when you are checking out. Dinner didn’t have a lot of options. Breakfast was good besides the fact all the flys landing on the bread. Air con wasn’t great. Room was superb tho. Not very soundproof. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Perhaps the food options for breakfast could be better, there is not gym which would of been nice but everything else was amazing.

Room was big bright very clean the hotel grounds were fabulous, breakfast was very good, and the staff were very nice.
The dining room lacked some better lighting and the birds landing on the food was not a good sight the bar also could be open later.
