Pool area was busy and many towels left on loungers meant you didn't know if they were free. During half term week it was difficult to find loungers to relax by the pool

The ac did nothing in the heat. The WiFi barely worked. The staff need to learn how to speak to customers and the food was not great.

The food is a disaster… moroccN gastronomy is so good i can t see how you can make it this bad. Also a lot of my friends got sick from the food. We suspect it was the salads

One of my most stressful travel experiences – I couldn’t wait to go home I stayed at Kenzi Club Agdal Medina with my husband and our two small children – a toddler (2.5 years) and a baby (4 months). We chose this hotel hoping for a restful, luxurious family holiday. Instead, I ended up counting the days until we could go home. And for someone like me, who travels monthly or every other month and stays at high-end hotels around the world – that says a lot. For the first time in my life, I was actually relieved to return home after a vacation. That’s incredibly sad to say – a holiday is supposed to be the one time you don’t want to leave, where you relax and long to come back. But I felt the opposite: constant stress, discomfort and sleepless nights. From the very beginning, the hygiene standard was disappointing. Our first room was dirty and worn out – thin, overused pillows and duvets, torn duvet covers, stained carpets, and an overall feeling of uncleanliness. Things got worse when we saw cockroaches inside our room – large ones. Over the week, we encountered 3–4 of them. I suffer from insect phobia, so this ruined my entire experience. I was constantly checking the floor, the walls, the bed – unable to sleep or relax. After we reported this, the staff did try to make up for it. We were upgraded to a suite, and were offered complimentary massages, which I appreciate. But that’s not what I came for. We didn’t need special treatment – we just needed a clean, safe room that met the standards we paid for. I could’ve gotten a massage back home in Norway. I wanted peace of mind and quality time with my family. Even in the upgraded room, the cleaning was not up to standard. I personally witnessed the cleaning supervisor placing a rug from the floor on top of a made bed in order to mop the floor. I immediately reported this to Taha, the hotel manager, who responded kindly and had everything replaced. But again – this took time and energy away from my vacation.

Dinner service was understaffed at times. Good was fabulous if you arrived early but there were times when there were no clean tables to sit at, no mugs at breakfast etc. staff work very hard and are super friendly but there needs to be more of them to accommodate the dinner service.

Nothing. It’s excellent just what I would want in an all inclusive resort for a family vacation.

I did not like when my child was freezing cold and she asked for a towel because ours was really wet and they said no.

The property location is quite isolated, meaning nowhere to walk to, but option of taxi and shuttle is there. The property has a huge capacity however for me not enough loungers/space to accommodate around pool areas, we had to sit on chairs by the pool bar for the entire afternoon. Only stayed for one night (thankfully) however no 5 star property we stayed in before has only one food outlet (same) for breakfast / lunch / dinner except the pool snack bar. Quality of food is very mediocre, mass catering, lots of choice but very little taste. Self service for coffee, juice, soft drinks during meal times. The bathroom amenities are definitely not 5 star, shower gel, shampoo and hand wash only, no robes, 2 towels when 3 of us staying in a room. I would barely give it 4 stars unfortunately.

Massive all inclusive style resort. Meal times were like school canteen queues and quality of food wasn’t great. Just too many people at a feeding frenzy. Staff were lovely but were just on crowd/towel control so it felt impersonal and not the break from the bustling medina I was hoping for.
