Location is ideal, walking distance of the Medina, but on a quiet street. Room was very comfortable, great air conditioning, clean , comfy bed.
Staff was a little cold at front desk, helpful if needed, but not friendly.

The location is ideal for me & is usually perfect. Breakfast has massively improved over the years (been staying here since 2018). AC is excellent & the huge bed is super comfortable. Room is freshened up every day & new towels. Shower was warm & a decent power.
There was renovations happening on the terrace at the side of the restaurant. Everyone likes a nap before going out to paint the town, but it was impossible due to the noise. Also room 601 was next to the cleaners store cupboard which was used from 7am & no attempt to be quiet. If you have busy days ahead avoid this room & any facing the nightclub or sports bar

The room was too small for 2 people and unfortunately, due to the IMF conference, the hotel was full and we were unable to upgrade.

The best part of the Hotel Racine Marrakech is how close it is to the Baan Thai Institute, an incredible spa that should he a part of everyone's trip to this city. If you like to walk, the hotel is within a 25 minute walk of most of the major must-sees.
We look for 2 things from a hotel, general cleanliness and the manner in which the staff engages. The room we had was basic, nothing to post on Insta but had a bed and a bathroom. TV didnt work. We faced the street with a nightclub, so were happy we'd packed ear plugs. There was mold in our very small shower. The breakfast is fine, basic, with a selection of items, served in the -2 level. The rooftop pool is fine. We had to bring our towels from the room as they didn't seem to be able to provide pool towels. We didn't eat in the rooftop restaurant. Our experience with the staff at reception was okay during check-in, after that, we were invisible.
