Conveniently located hotel in Gulitz down a quiet street. The hotel is clean and tidy and the staff were fantastically helpful.
On the top floor we could hear the noise of the hotels aircon sun its on the roof.

The staff had a bad face all the time Only one elevator was working and the one that worked was damaged There's no light in the room terrace And the worst thing was at the checkout time when the owner said that I was layer about the price for the late checkout that his employee told my about . Eventually he opened the security camera and found that I'm right.

The only nice place in the hotel was restaurant and the swimming pool.
The staff was very rude and unprofessional. I have been charged twice and as soon as I complained the member of staff told me that I am liar when I can clearly see on my bank statement that I was charged. Big thank you for Yousef for help, great manners and wonderful customer service. Is the only person who made our stay more enjoyable

We were on the 5th floor there was no wifi in our room, we stayed for 10 days, every day we spoke with the receptionist we have no internet in our room and they told us we will lease with the technician, this happened for a few days, then we spoke with booking.com and they said they will speak with the hotel they said they was going to compensate us and then later changed their minds, for the whole 10 days we had no wifi and I had to get work done on my laptop, the manager of the hotel said if we cant change your room if you have a problem with the internet, and then book.com are utterly useless took them like 6 days to respond to me and said they cant do anything to compensate us. Also the hotel said we cant bring any food inside to the hotel and we have to order from their Resturant which we didn't like, will not be staying here again

Location, central to city
The hotel was unfriendly, not child appropriate and felt discriminated against. They did not have any food options for a child even after complaining. We went to the restaurant, we were told, no pizza, no sandwiches. We went to buy food, when we came back to the hotel, we were told we were not allowed, we had to sit outside on the footpath. Limited breakfast option. Music was being played loud & not child appropriate. We were told there was no food allowed in the hotel, even after the restaurant closed at 11:00pm. They did not allow families who would like to cover and go swimming, even for the fact it's a Muslim country. The management took offense, when they saw Muslim people around. If we had known this before booking, we would not have booked with this hotel. They have a non burkini policy. WiFi was intermittent, even after complaining. AC did not work properly from the start. We should respect everyone for who they are and not discriminate. This was misleading, they should make their policies clear before getting people to book so that it saves everyone the headache. People are coming with children on holiday, then they are not allowed to do this, not allowed to do that. Parents and children are leaving unhappy.

Location was good close to medina and souks. Triple room size was good with a small balcony.
Swimming pool did not allow women wearing burkini, which was not written anywhere on the policy. There was a small poster stuck on the door of the pool. Manager/owner had argument with us told us to leave on 1st day because we challenged it. They called our room and said we needed to leave and we were not welcome. We told her it was not on her policy she said she has a poster up on the door to the pool and burkini wets the floor to cause people to slip. She came down spoke in French refused to budge to allow my daughter to swim even though I said I will make sure she is dry and not wet the floor, her swim suit was one which she wears for her swimming lessons in the UK and nobody has a problem with it, it's made from spandex material same as the bikini swimwear. Lady owner was rude and said her bit and left without even listening to me. She had a most aggressive manner. Poor customer service from the extremely rude owner. We went to her office to speak to her, she refused to come out and speak to us, she made her assistant says she is not available when she was sitting on the chair in her office. Again Poor customer service. AC didn't work in one of the rooms although they said they fixed it. Low toilet tissue. We were not allowed to eat or drink anything bought from outside. One day we ate watermelon in our room. Staff came up and told us not to eat takeaway food in our room because the cleaners have to clean it up. Owner made reception staff confiscate water and drinks from us because we bought it from outside. She saw us entering then called to the receptionist to take the bottle of water off my son and said we had to buy the water from them if we wanted to drink water otherwise we were not allowed water in our room. Breakfast options were limited same everyday only cooked option scrambled egg, potatoes, crumpets. Lack of variety at breakfast.
